News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

at least your resort is opening. Now im stuck in the quandry ,do i call disney and see what is up, and have to pay to be moved, or wait for them to contact me for a free upgrade.

I mean, it's opening after our arrival date....so we'll need to be moved or pay for a different resort...

Nothing better than finding out that your resort doesn't open until October when your reservation is in September and this MDE debacle all happening within 12 hours of each other. I think the universe is trying to tell us something with this thrice rescheduled trip...

Yeah it was lovely making a reservation months ago and finding out two days ago that they cancelled it because they'll be closed. So uh, why allow someone to make the reservation? It's been really bad.

August 1st reservations, still logged in and able to get into My Plans page, but the ticket reservation link only redirects me out to an information only page, so I can't get into the reservation system.

Also re: resort opening dates, we have reservations for Polynesian the first week of August and called a CM last night about the leaked opening dates but we were told not to worry that we should still be staying at the Poly that week.

I sincerely appreciate that everyone in this thread is fanatically doing the same angry waiting as me, though.

I have the login page sitting on the web browser on my phone not refreshing and letting it sit and self refresh, I then have tabs on my PC with the login page and the Park Pass System page that I am refreshing constantly along with this page. At least this page gives me something new to look at!!

I woke up at 6:30 to make sure I was logged in. At 7, it asked me for my account information and I signed in again. I got in and clicked my plans to make the park reservation and it took me to the pink castle. I've been staring at this thing for 50 minutes... I'm going to be livid if it all books up and they want me to go to Animal Kingdom or Epcot for 4 days straight lol.

Our resort is closed AND I had wanted to add a few more tickets to make up for not having park hopping. I tried calling the reservation phone line and my phone threw itself across the room.
