It's just a bad situation all around. They shouldn't have left this park to rot and let it get to the point where nearly any addition would be an improvement. I completely see where you're coming from and I normally would agree that quality is the most important thing, but it just kind of pains me to think about how this park is going to be for the next few years with absolutely nothing new. The fact that we're about to lose GMR only makes it worse. If only we could have TSL be quality and have it open sooner.
Rot. Really. <drama

Same here. I think best case scenario is that we get both the Mickey ride in a new building and the GotG e-ticket planned for Energy in DHS somewhere. I'm sure there no way we get both of those, but is it possible we get one of those scenarios?

Best case scenario:

GMR stays where it is and gets plussed. True trailers are restored to the preshow (and not the talky things that mimic the stuff that comes before the listed start time that are so annoying that you strive to get at the listed start time on the button even if it means sitting in the very front row). Tarzan scene is replaced with a James Bond/You Only Live Twice volcano/ninja invasion scene.

TOT stays where it is. In both coasts.

GOTG goes where it belongs. Left coast, into a 3rd gate that also has the Star Wars Experience (where that belongs). Swamps, into Islands of Adventure.

Energy is updated to something that maintains the theme of Future World at Epcot - if IP is used it's done tastefully and in service to the theme of the pavillion.

There's no longer a need to post pictures of overflowing trashcans.

They find a way to get Matt Ouimet back to run the parks.

The Weatherman decides to spend more time with his family and not wait until 2018 to do it.

Chappie finds a new career working drive-thru at In-And-Out...

How did Matt Ouimet impact the parks?

I doubt they will do Australia because I don't think they currently have an IP that would fit in there, at least not one I can think of.
Wishful thinking but does the sequel to The Rescuers count since it mostly took place in Australia and the Outback? If that doesn't fit for Epcot then maybe as a future expansion for AK.

Well, if they follow the Iger model. I can't think of a major IP in the Asia section. The closest IP in Africa is Lion King. If they just go with a continent and animals, plenty of unique animals to feature. Heck, you could even roll the Nemo show into it as it takes place in Australia.

Jungle Book for Asia and I think that would actually work there and not be too intrusive. If the Nemo show was moved to Australia the obvious facade would be the Sydney Opera House but I don't think they would model the land after a modern city. Think Aboriginal Village in the Outback.

Why not? It's near the lagoon. Retheme Dinoland to the outback. Change landscaping to better integrate the areas together. It could work.

He was President of the Disneyland Resort following the dismissal of Paul Pressler and Cynthia Harris. He cleaned up the mess that was the Resort and guided the 50th celebration into something worthwhile. He was pushed out of edit after making it clear that he wanted his boss Jay Rasulo, a man with an open contempt for theme parks, out and himself made Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. After a brief stint at Starwood, Ouimet is now the current CEO of Cedar Fair.

My bet is on Rescuers Down Under. Miss Bianca and Bernard are pretty underrated Disney heroes. The Recuers has also gained it's own following over the years.
Rescuers is not a franchise.

Oh, you meant building Australia around the current theater? I was thinking about that huge plot of empty land north of Asia.
If they put a Jungle Book ride in AK, it would probably be a reworked version of Kali River Rapids.

It's sad because the joke's probably the truth.
*sigh* Yeah... :(
