Changes, challenges , more work and do it in less time, some things that do not sound logical etc , and customers that act like a Karen could make one a superhero dealing with that .
Full disclosure it was fine. We wore masks. Spent 2 hours talking in a small office. Got their finances in order and everyone was ok. Not a big deal to be in the office.

We are at SSR now and went to STK last night. If you have strong feelings either way about masks, you would probably be disappointed by the situation at DS because it was very mixed. There were entire groups with no masks, but most people at least had a mask visible. At the resort, most but not all people had masks outside and would pull them up if they passed someone.

People treating time on Disney property as if it were a right rather than a privilege. Very disappointing to read, though not the least bit surprising.

Actually, other than DS (and it was a Saturday night) most people are being respectful by keeping a distance - mask compliance indoors has been very good.
What's happening at Disney Springs alone bears out my point. And you yourself mentioned people walking around maskless outdoors at the resorts.

The people who are walking at the resorts are nowhere near each other. SSR is huge - you can walk for quite a long time without encountering someone. Most have a mask and pull it up when they pass each other. As in life, there are some people who don’t comply. I used to let them get to me, but then it occurred to me that I was spending precious time being angry and disappointed.

Liked the health and fitness center there. It is hardly used and is very clean.

anyone know a good website to check on vacination in florida numbers, going to HS on the 23rd of may, hoping the 50% threshhold will be met so disney will allow at least outside no masks.

I have very little patience for rule-breaking at the best of times, and none whatsoever during a pandemic. But I realise others feel differently, and I'm not looking to change anyone's perspective.

not gonna happen, Disney is slowly increasing park capacity, ride capacity, increasing live entertainment, and reducing social distancing. Masks are not going anywhere until 2022. Plus as someone stated Disney has to negotiate with unions before mask removal.

Just got back yesterday. To say that masks don't suck and that they don't hinder your enjoyment is a straight up lie. Most days the past week hovered at 90 degrees, and even with the lightest weight sport masks on the market, it increased your core temp by at least 5 degrees. The morning hours were tolerable for masks, but as soon as the sun broke, it was hell.

By in large people wore their masks and CMs were enforcing the best they could.

I'm not in the camp that think they are the end all be all of safety (because they aren't), but we chose to go to Disney so we abided be their rules. We won't,however, be going back until the masks are gone.

Agree. People claim that masks don't restrict breathing at all or as least of no significance. You may be able to still reach same O2 saturation in your blood with a mask on, but your core muscles are working in order to do so. If you don't believe me try the following. If you have smart watch or fit bit put it on. Exercise with and without your mask on, making sure you keep the same pace etc for both. All readings will be different with mask on.

Masks wearing in the hot humid summer is not our cup of tea ( and its not even summer yet in FL ) so we feel the same way about returning to WDW.

We have to see if masks will be removal sooner if WDW talks about mask problems in summer.

I think it would have been productive if the experts spent last year assessing what seems to be driving the spread. They knew that information and we never really were given any data. Outdoor risk was always low. Grocery stores are low risk as we would have noticed the pandemic without being told if shopping was dangerous. Hair salons probably were safe to open and restaurants too but nobody bothered to submit any observations about it. I think there was a better way to manage this so businesses could have opened sooner after that first lockdown. I simply don't see any science that all of these behaviors are risky. It seems to be spread mostly from households, nursing homes, work environments, prolonged/close indoor contact etc.

There have been studies that indicate that indoor dining at restaurants is risky.

I've lost so much precious time.
