Does anyone have the Disney face masks?
Do you like them?
Initially I was just going to bring a few disposable masks since I wasn't going to need them much but now it seems like I'll be wearing them a lot and the Disney ones were marked down much lower than any other masks I was looking at on amazon so I bought a bunch.
Now I hope I like them lol.
(The only mask I REALLY like is one that's not allowed so had to find something else)
I know some spoke against them, but the "new" masks (starting around last Halloween) are my favorite. I'm a female with a small-ish head and wear the large. They're very comfortable and I pretty much wear them anywhere even outside of Disney.

They have been given emergency use authorization and have gone through all the safety testing any other vaccine has gone through. The only thing that is "experimental" about them is that we don't know how long they will last. 100's of millions of doses have been given out without any significantly safety issues. We are not suddenly going to find out the vaccines are dangerous.
I love the idea that they might not receive approval. Just from a pragmatic viewpoint, refusing full approval now wouldn’t just topple the administration, it would cause panic that would threaten the entire social order. No bureaucrat would risk that. Approval is inevitable.

And let’s venture deep, deep into fantasy land and talk about an impossibility. Let’s say the vaccine kills you in five years or prevents you from reproducing ( IT DOESNT). With the amount of people who have already taken it, society is doomed. It’s over. Apocalypse. And the anti-vaxxers think - what - they’ll get to say I told you so? No. They’ll wallow in a post-apocalyptic wasteland envying the dead.

In short, the “waiting for approval” line is nonsense, either given in bad faith or not thought through at all.

In the case of Publix and Wamart as mentioned, since they also happen to be two places providing the shots to customers, it doesn't seem like logistically, it would even be that difficult for them to pull off.

Talking about employees, not customers. Customers can't be asked in the state of Florida. Publix is a Florida company so I didn't think I needed to specify. Hopefully they could pull it off for employees.

Sheep are followers without thinking for themselves.
Link to that approval? I'll wait...
So what I am I then for doing 2 trials related to this then? Maybe what I see as sheep are different than you. Sounds like you have been misled by conspiracy theorists. Making those following lies sheep....

Approved for emergency use
And what that means
Under full approval review

Key word there "review"...

Great link! I'm sure there's no agenda there from a liberal college study.

I just think it should be up to each individual.
If you want the shot, go ahead. If you don't want it, don't get it. If you've gotten the shot, why do you care if I did or not? It works and you're safe, right?
Of for goodness sake. Why are you calling on me to dispel your conspiracy theories?

Treat your new style mask just like your underwear. Not too loose, not too tight, just oh so right. And if you buy a cloth mask, wash frequently like you do your underwear especially wearing it in hot and humid temps!

And once it gets dirty, turn it inside out and put it back on. 🤗

Long term outcomes are not known. Generational and reproductive toxicity studies have not been performed. What's gentox and reptox?? Think thalidomide

And that's what I meant - we're on the same page (more or less, I think).

At least at retail locations for Walmart and Publix, they're already set up to do it right there, on site, already.

For employees, nobody has to arrange special transportation or schedule time off (unless they feel they need to) to get it, etc...

To me, that seems like a much easier push than say, someone working for McD's or Home Depot being told they need to get the shots.

Though I imagine, many employers who decide to require it will probably attempt to set something up, for your two examples, they wouldn't even need to, except maybe for warehouse and office positions.

You're right. It's a huge government secret. You see, in precisely two years, the government's secret serum inside the vaccine will activate, and then BAM! Everyone who got it will turn into a bunch of mutant half human, half shark land beasts, and they will attack all of the unvaccinated. Meanwhile those who got the vaccine later will be helpless to stop it when they themselves turn into half sharks. The terror.
Finally we'll have that rural broadband coverage we've been hoping for

also CDC recommends

Women of childbearing age should avoid alcohol unless they're using contraception
Wear a swimming cap while swimming
Do not drink alcohol before getting in a hot tub, also shower and use soap before getting in
Do not eat sushi
No raw cookie dough
No q-tip in your ear
no medium hamburgers, or raw oysters
Also recommends schools to mandate hats and sunglasses for all students, for sun safety.

Might have broken many of these, possibly all in one night ;)
You forgot don't drive at night wearing sunglasses while playing Candy Crush on your phone.

I bought 2 pkgs recently and have been wearing them to the places around here that require them. They are comfortable, but I seem to be breaking out from them. Will take them along on our trip, but not sure how much I will wear them there.

Thalidomide.

Very effective for preventing morning sickness, no side effects on the expectant mother. Effects on the infant, that's another story.

Well let’s think about it. The delta variant didn’t come from the US so it came across the border. With it being a free for all open border with no testing and then they are being bussed all over the south when they arrive illegally rather than sent back, how could stricter border control not help? It would help a lot more that face fabric that didn’t help much the first time
Well said.
