If 3 CMs do try saying something, they’ll stop after a mix of altercations and people pulling a mask up for 10 sec before pulling it down.

They are not being trained to question guests on this.
Voila. No need for anyone to worry. Honestly, if a trip hinges on whether to put a mask on or not, I wonder if we're back in 2020.

if you are some high risk group and can’t take a chance don’t go to Disney World right now.

Why is it more complicated than this?
Not to derail, but a co worker that is high risk and has been a gold star stay at home warrior through this *still* think the parks should be closed (as should nearly everything else) because the personal risk for them is still perceived to be high

Gold star stay at home warrior. Well, gee, I'm sure gonna take you seriously after that one! But if they don't want to go, let 'em stay home. What skin is it off your potatoes?

I do find it interesting that the DL rules include the line "While Guests will not be required to show proof of vaccination, vaccinated Guests will self-attest that they are in compliance prior to entry.."

The rest of the paragraph deals with CA's recommendation that guests be vaccinated etc. I assume this is all related to some requirements from CA itself? I doubt the execution is going to end up being at all different between DLR and WDW.

“While we will not require proof of vaccination, we expect Guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, and upon entering and throughout all attractions and transportation. Guests must observe current policies on face coverings until June 15.”

Disney expects unvaccinated people to wear a mask, they do not require it.

I’m fully vaccinated and have been for a while. Every family member I have who is eligible is too. Covid is over for me.
Disney requires masks for unvaccinated people. Period. Doesn’t mean they are dumb enough to believe that all such people will actually wear masks, but those are the rules. When you say WDW doesn’t require masks for anyone, you are simply wrong. And that’s to say nothing of the fact that all people are still required to wear masks on WDW’s transportation. Anyway, I wish you and your family well!

Yes. CA loves “self-attestations”. They also love “sunsetting” things.

That mask will cut some of his peripheral vision. I can see my own cheek and nose without a mask on...maybe I have better vision...

The impact made me really claustrophobic when I first started wearing masks last spring.

The couple of times I put on a mask recently (today at my wife's credit union) after not wearing one much at all lately, I was surprised at just how much it blocked, plus the general feeling of claustrophobia.
