Not really. It doesn't come anywhere near my eyes. What kind of mask are/were you using?

Nowhere near the eyeline.

They definitely cut off some lower peripheral vision. Ever try walking down stairs with a mask on? Your view of the stair is harder to see. Check out how high it is on this person.

Right but vaccines are not approved for 2-11 year olds so therefore proof is impossible no? So in theory, Disney knows all 2-11 year olds aren’t vaccinated and could demand they mask up. No?
As I’ve said elsewhere, my kids were in the phase 1 Pfizer trial. They are 8 and vaccinated. So Disney doesn’t know that all kids are unvaccinated and won’t be chasing 3-year olds. Most kids are unvaccinated, but Disney can’t know which and isn’t asking for proof. It’s on the parents.

In theory but I believe they stated that they will be leaving it up to you to do the right thing.

Goofy is in charge of chasing down all 4 year olds and demanding they mask up
This is what I was getting at. Disney’s official policy says 99% of kids should be wearing a mask. I couldn’t imagine they would want the PR of forcing kids to wear a mask while not forcing adults to as they’d be rightfully destroyed by various media outlets like Fox News. But their official policy says it’s required so I was just wondering if people thought they would enforce it.

It will be telling if we see lots of kids under 12 not wearing a mask, as that will be indicator of whether or not the honour system works.
They’re not wearing them at Universal. Disney was aware of this before announcing the new policy and announced it anyway. Effectively, they are saying they will not enforce a mask policy and that if you are unvaccinated, unmasked, and catch Covid, good luck.

If they are in a clinical trial, they have not been vaccinated. The results of the trial are not yet in and therefore you don’t know if the vaccine worked on your kids or if the dosage wasn’t right. Therefore, Disney says they need to mask up. Again, not arguing here just curious is Disney is setting up a policy they don’t intend to actually follow or if they are going to have a militant masking policy like they have so far. I have a friend going in 2 weeks and they ask me for all things Disney and I don’t want to tell them the wrong thing.
