This is a small but cute offering, and very appropriate for the Lead up to Super Bowl Week. There is no bad here.

To the person who asked, no Goofy, Chip and Dale were not still in their positions in CDCT, but that's fine, Pluto, Donald, Lilo, Stitch, Woody, and Jessie can easily hold down that unit.

Mostly curious to see if they breached integrity - they havent been particularly good about that lately. Thanks

This was a little more of what I was expected from the promotion all along. It shows a level of effort and thought from entertainment, doesn't break the bank, but it's something very different and relevant that they can offer just because they can - and should.

This is the kind of thing they should be doing all the time anyway, but they haven't been.

Look at it this way, if there wasn't limited time magic, there would just be nothing.

Where did they get that gazebo? Are they gonna put it back when they're done with it? Is there a gazebo missing somewhere on property right now?

Love that they've used the Flights of Fantasy show stop for the parade! Makes me wish even more that it would be released...

As for the parade, at least they've done something, but DL is definitely getting the better deal with LTM

I know we try to consolidate threads - but would it be crazy to have a section to talk about LTM since it jumps all around and the thread grows quickly on certain topics?

So the True Love park blog post only has 4 comments? Is my refresh broken?

Arguably the largest event yet in scope, and it doesn't seem to have a lot of buzz. They're adding double the character shifts than lost friends, but will they get bang for that buck?

Disney World:
Here’s a look at some of the “Limited Time Magic” Pixie Dust you can expect at Walt Disney World Resort:
Also, in Town Square Theater you may find Mickey and Minnie, Aurora with Phillip or Rapunzel and Flynn. Mary Poppins joins Bert in Fantasyland, while Prince Naveen and Princess Tiana meet guests in the Enchanted Glade in Liberty Square.

Meanwhile at Disneyland:
And here are some of the “Limited Time Magic” surprises at Disneyland Resort:
  • Cupcake Lovers: Chefs have prepared a specially themed Valentine’s dessert: a chocolate cupcake with raspberry mousse filling and dark chocolate mousse frosting. It will be available at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café in Disneyland park; Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café and Pacific Wharf Café in Disney California Adventure park; and Disneyland Hotel Coffee House.
  • Romantic Setting: Guests will feel the romance at every turn, as heart-shaped signage and sweetheart-themed décor adorn Disneyland park, making it an ideal place to celebrate Valentine’s week.
  • Blushing Castle: At dusk, hues of red and pink will bathe Sleeping Beauty Castle, with projections of flowers and hearts.
  • Floral Heart: A giant floral heart makes a sweet setting for a Valentine photo, in Town Square, Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland park.
  • Valentine Wishes: Flowers, garlands and decorative doves will create a second ideal photo location around Snow White Wishing Well near Sleeping Beauty Castle. At night, magical lighting adds a romantic touch to the wishing well and Snow White Grotto.
  • Disneyland Sweethearts: Also near Town Square, guests will find a photo location with resident Disneyland sweethearts – Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck.
  • Dinners for Two: Romantic dinners for two with prix fixe menus will be offered at select restaurants during the most romantic week of the year. Specially created menus at Blue Bayou and Café Orleans in Disneyland park, Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure park, Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel or Napa Rose in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa make ideal choices for a romantic evening. To book call 714-781-DINE (714-781-3463).
  • Valentine’s-themed Takeaways: Limited-edition pins, plush, newly designed apparel and Vinylmations will be available at select merchandise locations.
  • Ears for your Sweetheart: The classic Disneyland ear hat gets a total glitz makeover just in time for the most romantic time of the year. It will dazzle your Valentine and become the most sophisticated pair of ears in your collection.
  • Royal Romance: Guests will enjoy a rare opportunity to get photos of Disney Princes as they escort their Princesses along The Royal Walk in Fantasyland. In New Orleans Square, guests will find another pair of sweethearts, Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen.
  • In Search of True Love: Guests may also encounter the Wandering Wallflowers, in search of “true love.”
Disneyland still seems to be getting more. My wife and I however are very excited for the return of Flynn. I just hope he doesn't try to take her again.

That LMT stuff for Disneyland isn't until later this week, for Valentine's Day. That will be the LMT offering at Disneyland for February 14th thru 17th.

This week, February 8th thru 13th, Disneyland Resort's official LMT offering is "Lunar New Year Celebration" to celebrate the Year of the Snake in DCA's Pacific Wharf area. They have Chinese artisans creating crafts and calligraphy artwork for you, special Chinese food offerings for the weekend only, Mulan and Mushu out doing musical meet n' greets, and specially-invited Asian dance troupes who performed traditional folk dances and street artistry, including the popular Chinese dog and dragon dances. Plus Minnie and Mickey in traditional Asian costumes for photos.

Yes, it would've been very cool to do all of that, and more, at the China pavilion in World Showcase.

It's fascinating how the One Disney thing doesn't work for some stuff, where you would think they'd want it to work.
From what I've read a seen around the web DL does a lot of this LTM stuff anyway. 3 Kings Day, Bayou Bash and Lunar New Year have been done in the past. Why hasn't WDW jumped on adding this stuff before now? The have places each if these events could go and the holidays they represent are during lower times if the year.

DL is now also doing separate LTM events for its annual passholders, on top of the LTM events open to the public. No surprise there.

WDW never seems to do stuff like Lunar New Year and Bayou Bash. Again, no surprise there.
