Surprised myself and actually liked the new theme song. Granted it was through a call and I can’t listen again. “Happily Ever After” holds a special place in my heart, but I think Enchantment will do quite well as long as there is enough pyro. I imagine someone else here is more intimately aware of its pyro budget.

Still skeptical of HarmoniUs. Even if it should be visually-sumptuous.

Old or New/Official 50th Song??

The one that will actually play while fireworks explode. I don’t know if there’s another version for commercials and the like…I presume there is or will be. They need something to play post-show now that DJ Man Bun got the axe.
So Enchantment is not getting it's own Theme Song, it's the 50th one. OK.

Are you talking about the new theme song for the Anniversary “The Magic Is Calling” or Enchantments new song “You Are The Magic” from Enchantment? Also is it upbeat or on the slow side?

Btw is Harmonious supposed to have a theme song?

Is the song as good as Disneyland's Live The Magic? The ballad version of Live The Magic and the ballad version of Tokyo's old Happiness Is Here is my favorite! :joyfull:

If there is a Frozen segment in Enchantment might we see Snoap year around on Main Street? They did for Disneyland Forever and it was really awesome with the lasers :)

Was wondering that to! But so far from the concept art it looks as though we are only getting the MS projections and not the additional search lighting and other effects on MS that Disneyland got, but hopefully I’m wrong.

They obviously included soul, Raya, and Luca to push Disney + subscriptions.

It's all about making money now.

Has it ever not been?

Have only watched Onward of the new movies, guess we will have to do some research?

I've seen all of them and would say Luca is the best of the bunch (not up there with Pixar's best, but a sweet little movie) with Onward on the very bottom (felt like the most mediocre of Dreamworks' movies imho). Soul was solid, nothing to write home about & Raya felt more like a Marvel movie than a Disney princess story, probably owing to the heavily action-oriented plot and the fact that it's not a musical. Can't say I'm excited to see the Disney+ movies taking up a significant portion of this show. They definitely aren't IPs that would give me an emotional response. It doesn't feel to me like the Disney+ characters have entered the collective consciousness as readily as characters like Moana, Miguel, Joy & Sadness, etc. But maybe that's just my personal bias?

Would you mind linking the song 😳 Is it guaranteed that will be the theme for DE or just a safe bet?

Trying to keep an open mind about this show but I'm honestly really bummed DE will be another mishmash of movies (similar to HEA) with the only difference being projections on MS and injecting newer IPs most of us have no sentimental attachment to. Obviously the ideal (and, y'know...make sense for the 50th) would be a show that reflects on the history of the resort, maybe including some sound clips from Walt and/or Roy and playing music from old shows/parades or music from popular MK attractions past and present. But even a show like HEA that offered a more balanced mix of old and new would have been fine with me. Disney singling out movies like Soul, Raya, Luca, etc. in that summary has me feeling really wary.

Then again, just because they name dropped those movies in the summary, doesn't necessarily mean they're highlights of the show (with the exception of Soul, which looks like it may be a framing device for one of the segments). Maybe that was just a weak attempt at shoehorning those IPs into the description?

Speaking of Anniversary theme songs, I came across this video of Tokyo Disneyland's castle where they had a mini-light show with their 30th anniversary decorations set to the tune of Happiness Is Here (Tokyo's 30th Anniversary Theme).

I hope this equipment hides during the day, can’t tell really what’s going on in the picture. The lighting rigs that are out all day in the hub vs retracted in a box look horrible.

Are those the projectors or new spot lights?
The box houses projectors, the other piece of equipment with the weather bubble, I think, is a spotlight.

EDIT: It appears that that's a new castle-facing projector. IIRC the HEA projectors on top of Casey's were only on the far right facade, closest to the Crystal Palace.

If it is a spot light it doesn’t appear to be the same size as the castle ones, which therefore it might not be as powerful or bright. Curious what Disneyland’s setup is on Main Street? You’d think WDW would do the same?

Disneyland does have spots on their Main Street roofs. I believe they were installed for Disneyland Forever, maybe before. They look like they're set a little bit further back from the roof edges than what we're seeing currently at MK.

We’re just seeing one of the new light boxes in the pictures, but I wonder if they installed more along the rest of the MS roof edges?
