Apparently, while the uber fans were critical of the show in October, more traditional visitors have settled in since then and DE’s guest satisfaction numbers are strong. Wouldn’t be surprised to see that used to keep this show here indefinitely.

I’m foolishly holding out hope we get a surprise announcement eventually and something joins DE at night in 2022.

Well as we know, many guests are just going to be happy with anything happening. So this doesn't come as a surprise unfortunately.
I'll I have heard that Harmonious is actually doing quite well, even comparable to illuminations, I have not specifically heard that enchantment is doing the same. Last I heard that while it's not the Dismal rating we might expect from the diehard fans, it is not rating nearly as strongly as happily ever after.

But I think either way the point is that it's not a show that is so hated they're going to tank it. It's a cheaper show that has a score is high enough to be acceptable. :(

And Bob Chapek doesn't like when people keep associating him has a budget cutting bean counter.

Yes, guest satisfaction is lower than HEA, but still acceptably high.

No surprise in Harm. While I criticize creative choices on the show, I actually really enjoyed the show for what it was. My whole family agreed we would see it over DE.

RIP HEA for good? That would be a major bummer.

I saw Enchantment last week. To act like it's a terrible show, is really a exaggerated take IMO. It just doesn't live up to the predecessor.

The theme song is good and some of the projection stuff works (def not as good as HEA). There are a few emotional beats that are still there, but I do think they picked some bad singers for their covers for sure.

From HEA, I missed the Mustafa moment from HEA, I Can Go the Distance, I See The Light, TB moment, etc.

Under what metrics is Harmonious doing well? People that have exclusively watched it from Showcase Plaza?

Ratings from the guest surveys. I sense by the abrupt question that you want to build a case that Harmonious is universally hated except for those who view it from showcase Plaza.

I'm torn on this because *I*am one of those who genuinely only wants to see it from showcase Plaza. However harmonious is pulling in strong ratings.

For any show Park surveys don't even ask you where you viewed the show from. They don't ask you where you sat during Festival of The Lion King. They don't ask you if you watch Enchantment from The Hub or from Main Street or from another land. They just asked did you see it and if so you're asked for your rating.

Problem with night at Epcot is all those viewing are drunk (or so I've heard) and you can't trust the surveys. Those people will like a roman candle from one of the islands and you give them tacos? Eat it up......

Well, that's one way to help with survey results... Maybe that explains some election results?

Just from my own metrics when I visited WDW in October….I can say it was night and day between what people thought who posted and what people were saying in the parks…people were buzzing about Harmonius even when I wasn’t at Epcot… I was asked a few times if I had seen Harm and that it was a not to be missed…not one person mentioned DE outside of the actual show

You're not the only one who has noticed this. I'm on that list as well. It is black and white difference, at least for harmonious. Enchantment not so much.

Agreed. The Main Street projections are terrible quality in many cases.
In most cases...
