Disney Dollars going away?

I love getting Disney Dollars to save up for my trip when I go to the Disney Store. It's nice to have money that HAS to be saved for my WDW trips. I hope they will still sell them.

You can add money to the gift card at any time to save.

I think the DD are cute, but I wouldn't be upset if we did away with them. We get this one "customer" who likes to come in and try to buy like $300 in ones all the time. We try explain policy to this guy, but he just doesn't get it. He doesn't even want tens, only ones. He seems to think he can come in daily and buy all of our ones, like we make new bills in the back room.:brick:

Several years back I went to our local Disney Store (that was in Metairie, LA when we lived in LA) and bought DD for our boys as stocking stuffers for an upcoming January trip. I think we bought like 500 or 600 all at once. When I asked the cashier said she had to confirm they had enough left and they did.

Disney Dollars, like US Dollars, are made from cloth and not paper. Not a single tree is harmed.

Actually its a linen and cotton mix...but you are right...no trees cut for this.
