Disney wedding theme

When I get a moment, I'll post some photos from our Disney themed wedding. Disney theme cake and cake topper (with ideas from when the Food Channel did a special on Disney dining, and showed some of the tricks they used on the cakes), Disney place cards, Disney champagne glasses (the ones in the gallery cases) Disney music, the list goes on and on ... Goofy was our ring bearer ..... , Of course, you know that part of the honeymoon was at Disney ...

Honeypooh,

Wow, I'd love to see pics of that. My Uncle is an artist and runs a drawing school. I'd love to have him paint me some stuff, but not sure if he has the time nor I the money.

Well, I have alot of collectibles. Our guest bathroom is going to be standard Mickey bathroom, shower curtain, tub skids, towels, rug. But I wanted to hang a few older black & white Walt photos with some of his famous quotes OR maybe paint the quotes on the wall in caligrophay or something.

I'm thinking of a Fantasia room as our Living Room/Fancy room. I have the Big Fig sorceror Mickey and about 10 colleticble plates that feature him from the 25th WDW Anniversary. Plus I have a few assorted Fantasia lithographs

The house is probably the msot tackiest thing I've seen. Granted he has alot of 'stuff" but just slapping it into a room is the equivalent of Six Flags throwing up a zillion rides and calling it "well themed".

It has to have a sense of purpose and central theme for it to work. Then again, I'm the picky sort :)

I admit this guy is obsessive, but I would LOVE to go in his house just to look around. It's scary almost. They should give him free passes to Disney World. I'm sure he's paid enough money to go free the rest of his life! Who wants to bet his dog's name is Mickey?:lookaroun

I don't know if my mother would allow me to paint Disney Murals inside the house, though she loves Disney like mad. But the garage is free range :) On one wall I've painted the castle with mickey in front (Like the picture that is on the price tags, if you know what I mean..). Unfortunately I don't have any pictures :(

This summer I'm planning on painting a procession of tapestry of dreams puppets along the ceiling/top of the wall...who knows what will be next!

At home: The WDW Train Station Model sits on my TV Cabinet.

At Work: Since I work in Construction Management, I got the poster of the Blueprint of the front elevation of the WDW castle, framed it and hung it on my office wall.

I also have a stuffed Kermit on my shelf at work!

My entire bathroom is Mickey Mouse related.

Got a Mickey bathrug, toothbrush holder, cup, soap dish, soap dispenser.

I had the shower curtain too, but it got rather nasty looking, so I ditched that. :hurl:

I'd like to do that to my place when I get one. I've been trying to convince my roommates that when we move into the new dorm we should Disneyise it, but I think they think I'm joking.

When I found out I was pregnant, I knew this was my chance to have a Mickey Mouse room-- in the nursery! I found some cool wallpaper border (vintage Mickey with white face- not Disney baby) from an online store called Michael Rodent's. Found a couple of scenes in a cross-stitch book that I liked, made transparencies, and then painted them on the walls. One is a single Mickey Mouse, the other is Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Goofy. We ordered drawer pulls and coat hooks from DD marketplace, and then framed pictures of our daughter with various Disney characters (we took her when she was 6 weeks old!) It turned out really neat, in my opinion.

I kind of had to mix and match everything because there wasn't any Mickey stuff that wasn't Disney baby. I didn't want the Disney baby stuff because I wanted the primary red as the theme. So, that's my Disney room... and my daughter absolutely loves it. She was able to say Mickey shortly after her first birthday thanks to her seeing those murals and the border all the time. Pretty cool!

I was hoping someone posted the link for the Disney Tatoo Guy's house. My husband is always saying I'M obsessed. When I showed him this website, he gave me a break for a while.

My 5 year old son's room is completely Disney. I have been told by several people that it is the greatest kid's room they've ever seen. He even has the Mickey Mouse TV. I will go into his room from time to time just to feel the Disney Magic when I need it. I feel that it is very tastefully done and not overboard at all. I recently added several 12"X12" pieces of corkboard all around a framed Mickey poster on his wall. I've covered the corkboard with favorite pictures from our Disney trips since my son was born. It's a great way to revisit Disney daily without having to drag out photo albums. His ceiling has the glow in the dark stars and I am going to order glow-in-the-dark adhesive sheets of paper, cut out several mickey shaped heads and scatter them throughout the stars as well.

In my room, I have a photo of the castle, viewed from Mainstreet U.S.A. (you can also see parts of Mainstreet U.S.A.) sitting by my bed. It's a small piece of Disney but I love that I can "visit" my favorite spot on earth each night before bed and it doesn't intrude on my husband's area at all.

there is no such thing as being too obsessive over disney, although my family and friends might differ. almost 80% of my house is decorated in a disney theme, not tacky though. one bath room is springtime pooh the other bathroom is micky one daughters room is princess the other is pooh bear, i painted a mural in the pooh room a whole wall of pooh stting near a tree on a log with eyore piglet and tigger its very cute, my living room has a wall of the disney plates and i got a really cool pic of cinndys castle with a trow and pillow to match.. our den has micky as well but the old micky and minnie, besides those rooms have yet to be touched although i'm working on it....i would love my kitchen to have that pretty pastel micky theme...i'll get there!!! but there is not such thing as being disney obbsessive.lol

What a cool topic. I have a little Disney in every room in my house & it makes me happy. The room I am sitting in now is probably our most Disney room. There is a impressionest Mickey comforter on the day bed & then 3 large framed Disney Gallery posters on the walls--my favorite of Walt with the famous quote "Let's not lose sight of one thing, that it all started with a mouse." Lots of knick knacks & my Mickey Mouse phone--even have a Minnie Mouse antannae ball on the top of the computer. My curio is full of Disney pieces as is our entertainment unit. One of my favorite pieces is in our bedroom....one of the hand drawn pieces you can get at the Art of Disney of Cinderella & the Prince dancing that my best friend gave us as a wedding present. I love living surrounded by all my Disney things & I really don't care what people think when they see my home---but I bet they think it is a fun house to live in!! :D

WOW...
That makes me feel better about my collection though...
I thought I was obsessive.
I have 3 curios and a Entertainment Center with a lot of stuff...but not that bad, and it's all contained to one room.
Oh, and I do have a hidden Mickey in my garden.
Really...though, I am normal comparatively, right???
Can anyone spell OCD?
