I will be going on the 4 night Bahamian Cruise in november. I saw in the OP that a passport is not needed for a closed loop cruise, is that still the case?
That is still the case. Disney recommends them, but they are not required. You will need an official copy of birth certificates and government issued photo ID's for adults.
No doubt!
hello i was just wondering if there is anywhere u can see what nights are the formal nights and what shows are playing ahead of time before u board the ship?
There is!
Disney will have a schedule if you call, or if you want to post which itinerary you're on we can help!
I sure wish both Disney Parks and DCL would get rid of the garbage coffee from Nescafe or what ever swill that crap is. I had to force myself to try and drink it. The ships coffee was gosh-awful! Then when we got back on land for our CBR stay I had the parks coffee. A little better for some reason...maybe my taste buds were numb...but I forced it down.
Once home I could not belive how awful their coffee is. I read a lot about the poor coffee on the boards in the past and said well Starbuck Snobs always complain. I'm not a Starbuck snob...but I can tell you this past May's trip really made me see and taste the differnce. Yes I like a morning cup or 2 and 2 or so in the late evening. It was bad, really bad on vacation! Best cup I had was at Waffle House one day once we got to our land portion of our vaca.
Next year we are taking a travel version of a Keurig with our own coffee! I don't care if I have to put in my carry-on bad or not. The single cup Keurig is going to DIZ-A-NEE with the wife and I! LOL
Room service is definitely NOT Nescafe. We often get coffee and croissants delivered to the room for breakfast and my wife would likely murder anyone who brought her instant coffee in the morning. To date, there have been no fatalities in our stateroomTo make this more of a FAQ, Coffee in the restaruants (and from room service as well) is not Nescafe (at least as far as I can tell)

I guess I should have said the MACHINES on deck as well as the MACHINES in the food courts on property. I've never had coffee at the restaurants on the ship. Didn't trust them after the poor taste on deck.
At 9PM or later we walked up on deck and it was terrible. And at the breakfast buffets the MACHINES are there too. Same poor flavor. I'd imagine at Palo or Remy, maybe, it's different? And I didn't call room service so I can't compare that cup. Either way, I don't need another thing to plan like an ACR - advanced coffee reservation - Geeeze!
Thank - it's all good to know. But if I have to plan a good cup of coffee by calling roomservice or booking a high end dinner I'll just pack my own.
It's not just "high end" - any place with a waiter and no "machines" has good coffee on the ship. Any of the three rotational dining rooms will have good coffee, and at least one is always serving breakfast and lunch. The availibility of good coffee is in fact one of the reasons I would go to them for breakfast. Unlike dinner, there is no reservation and no required seating time for breakfast - just show up during operating hours. And ask them to leave the pot

Does anyone know the approximate timeline for pick up/drop off by the Magical Express? We're staying at the Polynesian and have booked transport to Port Canaveral. I know it isn't a set schedule, and I've been told we'll find out our pickup time at the resort or in our packet, but I'd like to have a general idea of the timing. Do they get you there before noon? How many stops between Poly and PC?
Tammy for our cruise do we need birth certificates or can we just bring our passports and id?
You think taking many other cruises before I would know this but Disney seems a little different so I just wanted to make sure.If you have passports, you do not need birth certificates. An ID is always handy so you don't have to take your passports off the ship with you.
