Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

This is kind of my thought as well. By the time this is open to ride, I think a good majority of the Frozen obsession will have subsided. Disney has been shoving it in our faces for so long that I believe people are starting not to care as much at this point. Thats not to say people won't still like it. They just might not be willing to waste a day waiting for the ride and meet and greet, especially if the ride is just sort of Meh.....

eh we are getting a short that will boost popularity and I bet a tv show in the future. I'm sure it will stick around in popularity for a long time .

I dont think the short will 'boost' popularity in the sense of creating more Frozen fans. It will perhaps plunge the Frozen fan base deeper into the brand abyss. It basically already has a tv show as it has taken over 'Once Upon a Time'.

I have no doubt it will remain popular but its shameful how Disney is forcing this IP into every aspect of their brand. Its similar to when someone buys you a nice gift but then constantly reminds you of the gift to the point where it just annoys you.

Until 2010, Tarzan was #3 on the list of WDAS's top grossing films, right behind Lion King and Aladdin. It also had top selling soundtrack and a Broadway musical.
And don't forget this!

A Broadway musical that flopped for many of the same reasons Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark did no less.

Amusing to think about how both Tarzan and Little Mermaid flopped and Newsies was a hit that's now touring the country.

Proves that Boradway is different from film and you can't take the medium for granted.

I predict two good Annas, one good Elsa, a decent Olaf, a Marshmallow, MAYBE a Kristoff... And some trolls that only move one body part, like the inhabitants of the Under the Sea scene at the Little Mermaid ride.
