Yeah, can you imagine?

The tree house is such a waste of time....gawd the need to tear it down and do some more pirate stuff.

Well, bear in mind, people are kind of soured on remakes. Furthermore, there have been many, many adaptations of Cinderella already. No matter how good the film is (and it is apparently VERY good, given by the overwhelmingly positive reviews I've seen), in this case Disney marketing was wise to tout the Frozen short.

Now, with the initial weekend out of the way, I think further advertising is going to focus more on the film itself.
You should try to see Cinderella soon. Like I said in a previous forum, it's the best live action movie that Disney has ever made in my opinion

I feel like all they are doing is advertising the frozen short with the movie. I haven't seen to many ads for Cinderella just advertising the movie. It kind of makes me think they are not to sure about the movie and that's why they are pushing the frozen short so much.

I've actually had the exact opposite experience. I've only seen a couple spots advertising the short (most of what I have seen about that has been posts/updates online), while the vast majority of Cinderella advertising I have seen has been just the actual movie trailer/commercial.

Probably you are watching shows that have a target demo that wouldn't be heavily interested in Frozen and everyone else in here are watching programs with an audience that would be more interested in Frozen.

That does happen a lot. Take the movie Chappie, for example. The first trailer for it I saw made it look like a sentimental story about a group of friends who make a Johnny-5 robot. The next time I saw a preview, probably during a UFC event or an action/adventure-based show like Arrow or The Flash, the preview was all explosions and Hugh Jackman with a machine gun. It looked like a completely different movie. Haha. I actually saw an ad for Bad Santa once that made it look like the heartwarming tale of a bullied kid who finds a father figure in a mall Santa.

'liquid layer' --- hmm, i would think that would reference all the viaduct and below grade movement of white, grey, and black water. we have seen the extensive subterranean prints for the new pavilion, and all the piping work that has to go on... just never heard anything called a liquid layer, outside of SimCity, anyway

The Liquid Layer is the name of the two walk in water fountains. One is located on the walkway that used to have the Lights of Winter, and the other is between Mission Space and Innoventions.

Well that helps to clarify things, thanks! The address on the permit, 1992 Avenue of the Stars , is not the address of Norway, so I assumed that was a mistake, but maybe it's the Norway that is a mistake.

Massively disagree. Not a bad movie by any means, but it doesn't remotely touch movies like Mary Poppins or Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Cinderella was a fun movie and pretty enjoyable, the second half anyways, but it's no masterpiece and far away from Disney's top tier live action fare.

I blame lack of jet packs. Cinderella should have fought Lady Tremaine on top of a zeppelin in the third act.

Well, Disney DOES have a construction crew made up of Doozers...

I'm not sure what is meant by that. You can't literally mean the Doozers from Fraggle Rock, as Disney doesn't own that IP (the Jim Henson buy only covered The Muppets, Bear in the Big Blue House, and possibly Dinosaurs; it did not cover Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and other selected projects).

I'm shocked that there hasn't been any word on what this ride will be. It's now officially under 12 months till opening.

Its a flume ride ... SHOCK ... said no one ever, all they are doing is potentially changing the direction of the attraction and sticking a snowman some imaginary characters and crystal ball says they may or may not leave the trolls alone.

Wold be great if someone in leadership in TWDC had the balls to actually say putting Frozen into Epcot was the most creatively bankrupt thing Parks and Resorts have ever done ...
