Right, but I think 1 minute is the goal average. And from sitting in M&G lines, that seems about right. I highly doubt the 100 guest/room/hour being thrown around here is accurate.
The average M&G expected in WDE is 3 minutes. Make it personal, don't interrupt the guest, and keep it memorable. We encouraged the characters to keep the line moving, but not at the cost of experience.

My McDonald's joke not withstanding, for every hug-sign-bye there's also little girl scolds Gaston. You never know when these moments will come so that's why 15 minute cycles are the average for characters. 20-25 sometimes on high flows, but certainly never more than 30 on set. Over that time and the charcter is too tired and starts making mistakes in the performance.

Set time is what controls it really. Idealy, you'd have more than one room for it. This way, one set rests while another is flowing guests.

My hunch is they will remove the reversing portion of the ride. That and 2 load platforms would greatly increase throughput.

I am afraid Imagination and Energy will stay as is until something new is added besides a Soarin expansion. WoL 2.0 makes more sense everyday. :geek:

To remove the reverse portion they would have to change the direction switches into curves and there doesn't really look like much room to do that.

I'm a little confused at the math on the M&G. I assume the average group has four guests. And that M&Gs average one group per minute. With three rooms, that's 12 guests/minute or 720/hour. Still low, but not 300 like some mention here. With FEA, the pavilion can process 1600 guests per hour. Not awful, at least after the first couple years. For 2016 and 2017, we all have brains here. Just like 7DMT, Fastpass it once or twice for your trip and move on elsewhere. The intense crowds for this ride should have little impact on folks here. Let the crazies who will wait in a 3-hour line enjoy the finer details of Wandering Oaken's.
Because most spend 2-3 minutes with the characters. 1 minute would feel rushed and impersonal, which as TDO would say, 'is bad show'.

An actual Frozen ride with 2,000-2,500/hr plus a M&G with 500-700/hr next to Maelstrom, while keeping Maelstrom intact would have been the smart thing to do.

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
I'm obviously way behind here... But what has been determined/predicted for the little movie theatre at the end of the ride? More queue line or the Frozen short? :p
