Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

I think they will someday question the decision either way.

I don't share your opinion. I think this is a first step in revitalizing/reimagining WS and possibly FW. Long lines over an extended period can only speed up the transformation of other Epcot pavilions. I also think this Frozen attraction is a sort of beta test for the franchise. If popular (and profitable) enough you will see attractions arriving at other resorts.

IMO.

Shocker!!! :jawdrop:

If they need to beta test Frozen, then management has really serious problems.

There is no guarantee the franchise has the legs (or should I say wheels?) of something like Cars. Time will tell of course. IMO.

To me it doesn't make a different whether it has legs or not, if the attraction is well done it will stand on it's own. Besides, build a multi-million dollar attraction is not a good way to test. Even if Frozen remains popular, it would be 2 or 3 more years to build in in another park, and by that time things might have changed.

And Cars Land was announced in 2007, 1 year after the movie. Are you trying to say after all this time we're still not sure about Frozen compared to Cars? Please.

Not doubting its success just its timelessness as a franchise in the long run. Meaning with future generations of fans. Cars is clearly timeless in this respect. Not sure Frozen is in the same category. Possibly, even likely, but not guaranteed.

IMO.

I agree, shallow and pedantic...

True. However if WS is "toonified" the addition of Frozen will be brilliant from a strategic point of view.

I think Disney will do whatever it takes to keep Frozen relevant and popular. Its borderline pathetic how they make sure that everywhere you go at WDW, you see something related to Frozen. Its like when a person buys you a nice gift, but ALWAYS reminds you of it, to the point where you just wish they hadnt got you a gift at all.

Relax, Star Wars will fix everything. :geek:
