Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

This level of elitism is disgusting.
So the rest of us should just accept one more attraction for the toddlers that would be just as satisfied with literally anything bright and fuzzy? There is nothing wrong with attractions for younger kids, but this is dismantling a pavilion of a beautiful country because its the fastest way to make money on it. If expecting WDW to maintain some areas that cater to a more mature audience is elitism, I guess i should go buy myself a Prius.

You are out of the loop chief. If you think current construction is one meter I'd like to see the measuring stick you use.
are there new photos then? the last ones I seen where taken by a plane in the avatar thread.. and they didnt have anything high.

Yes, you are right, this doesn't count as vertical... ;)

gotcha!!
nevermind then!

That's about a meter, right? And they've taken what, about 6 inches off of the top of the BAH I think...;)

We're talking pre-halfdemolished hat, full hat, or magicbandsized-demolished hat?

So, if you like Frozen, you are a "toddler" who needs to be kept "away from everyone else"?

Always a pleasure to read this thread.
It's how Morocco fits in Aladdin. You should have to seek out that. Do you not yet realize that for the duration of the popularity of frozen, this pavilion will be absolutely a nightmare for anyone that wants to see norway? If there is any Norway left.

Children belong all over wdw and that includes world showcase. Cartoons depicting imaginary lands with fictional characters do not belong there. You can defend your love for cartoons all you like, if that's what you feel like you need to do. I am completely comfortable saying that this is a move to satisfy people who don't care about culture, theme, or history. I'm also quite proud of the fact that I am not easily impressed. Discerning people built the place after all.

If you're attempting quote me in the latter part of your comment, your context clues are a bit off.

I never said "needs to be" which is why you did not put it in quotes I'm guessing. What I'm saying is that frozen will indeed draw large crowds. For those who would like to enjoy it, there's a specific area. It's not every where you turn as is the case at the moment.

I'm pretty tired right now and may regret this in the morning, but I wouldn't mind if they ended up doing a Diagon alley type of deal with this.

Norway in the front Arendelle in the back (a pavillion mullet if you will). Keeps the world showcase aesthetic and keeps the frozen fans happy (and away from everyone else).
Something like that would've been possible if the expansion pad was used for a cool indoor area and a clone of the ride Tokyo will get + the M&G's with Anna, Elsa, Olaf etc. also in this situation Maelstrom would stay which I would've loved very much. But clearly Disney knows better than I do. Let's reuse the boat ride that can't possibly handle the crowds of Frozen fans and use that other space for a M&G and bathrooms!!!!! It's perfect!!! :banghead:
