Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

Disney announces things too early. What Universal does is build and when it's almost finished, they announce it. I like that strategy, because everything goes faster then.

It actually all goes faster by any regular measure of time at Universal, not just when they announce things.

Also because Disney executives prefer to stretch out construction in order to keep quarterly expenses down, instead of paying for more workers and overtime in shorter periods. Looks better on a budget sheet.

Universal also cuts a lot of people out of the decision making process.

Frozen doesn't make sense in a world showcase. Look if it were a movie without a snow queen and with real Norwegian culture I would have no problems with it. If a ratatouille ride would enter WS where you learn about the French kitchen, no problem. A dark ride about Mulan, no problem when it will just teach us something. These are more realistic movies that at least show culture

I don't object to the educational bent you want... butI do object to Disney using Disney creations to convey that message. I feel that Disney's own images clutter the cultural angle that WS should have. If they're going to go about cultural exhibition the right way, they should do it without using their films.

isnt this a bit stupid? building fast = get done first, start exploiting it quickly
built it slow = costs and overruns, people tend to wait until something new is released..

so that means LESS MONEY.

I assumed so, they will most likely include Olaf as well, what else would they do with 13,000 square feet

Perhaps have the queue line to the ride start in there someplace since there is so little room in the old queue. Who knows?

Im surprised no information is available yet. I havent been to epcot since late september, are there any construction walls up anywhere in norway?

I'm not sure of this, but, I don't believe that walls are necessary in this project. All they had to do was close the original doors to the ride and all the rest is backstage.

Most likely. And the rumors of Olaf replacing Baymax will probably be true and then Olaf will be moved here and the pixar animation M&G loop will probably return.
