These are phenomenal. Why something like this hasn't been made yet is beyond me.

Someone may have already posted this back on the 14th ( no time to shift through this thread at the moment..)...but if not....might be of interest.

A article claiming a larger expansion is planned for Epcot ...including building on the expansion pad between Mexico and Norway.
Thought of ya'all when i came across it this morning.

And they couldn't do that stuff with ideas besides a non-Disney movie that's kinda washed up?

Well I think that for example Avatar has lots of fans who want to go to Pandora, a different world. The difference is, is that I think that there are less fans who want to go to the Pridelands for example, also because it's more a kid area then. Also the point about the nighttime wouldn't have worked with a Disney franchise. Avatar is a planet that is connected with light, that's going to be the strongest point of the area. Sure they could have made something like beastly kingdom( which would have been awesome), but it would never be as Pandora

Light is going to be the strongest point of this area true. but what happens when the lights start to stop working correctly in a few years. TDOs track record is to just not fix them for months or years, right? I hope this doesn't happen to Avatarland like other areas of WDW have seen. How has TDO been on maintenance lately?

I think Disney has thought about that already and I'm sure that if they make an Avatarland that they think about some alternative way to keep the lights working. And they still have lots of time to think about that too
