I like the irony smiley. Im getting sick of the Orson Welles clapping gif though. Just stop people.
Yeah he is getting over used.
I nominate this to replace him.

Then if Disney runs on pure greed (as is so often posted on here) why did they not build "Frozen Land" ? Why did their greed not drive them to spend more if they could make more? Call them many things, but they know how to squeeze a dollar out of folks
i prefer this one..

But it's popular and it fits well with this thread and the mass audience loves it. So if people like it, why can't they use it in every response they post here?
vs
Winner takes World Showcase? I am all for it.
Lots of people enjoyed it that way certainly. They probably still would. However, I feel like Disney created this issue slowly over time.Considering the Epcot existed for many years before they started adding characters to the attractions I have to assume that lots of people enjoyed it that way.
I wonder how many people who use it have actually seen the film.I like the irony smiley. Im getting sick of the Orson Welles clapping gif though. Just stop people.

Characters have been in Epcot going all the way back to Wonders of Life with the Goofy fitness area. Then in 1995 with The Lion King going into The Land. The Epcot Character Spot came in in the late 90's as well I believe. The old character bus in WS.
So while those may have been small integrations, it made guest want MORE. So looking at that slow timeline of additions, can you really say you're surprised they eventually built character driven attractions?
People always tend to say that they want more of what they already know. That's why creatives are hired to create.Lots of people enjoyed it that way certainly. They probably still would. However, I feel like Disney created this issue slowly over time.

I myself have seen the film, yet I still utilized the GIF earlier in this thread for the reverse purpose. I guess a GIF of someone clapping is only used to be just that; virtual applause. Though if we are going to begin using it in context...I wonder how many people who use it have actually seen the film.
Tom Staggs announces 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion...
That sounds worse than a double deck couch. You now what would be cool....a "ghost" Olaf in the boat during the ride, like the ghost in the carriages at HM.....and that linked to a Memory Maker / Photo Pass (or whatever the current name of it is) picture on the ride.
Oh and Olaf is wearing viking horns and carrying a little sword in his stick hand and sitting on the bow of the boat...
Cheesy? Oh you bet it is but that would make me smile.
Other than that rather nerdy wish I am really excited to see what they do with the queue and the crowd movement. It will be interesting to see what they come up with to handle the crowds. If they come up with nothing new that will be a let down. I am not waiting 2 hours even to see little viking Olaf...
Emmett made it work. That sounds worse than a double deck couch.
That's not really making good use of Olaf. After all, he can sing and dance:You now what would be cool....a "ghost" Olaf in the boat during the ride, like the ghost in the carriages at HM.....and that linked to a Memory Maker / Photo Pass (or whatever the current name of it is) picture on the ride.
