Rumor Disney Characters Being Added to IASW

If those things include BTMRR explosive 3rd lift, the return of Christmas Jamboree (and lesser extent Vacation Hoedown) for CBJ, new Philharmagic, updates to Pan, new light parade, anniversary tag to Happily Ever After and HBG in HM I will be very happy.

I agree- WDW should have all of those things too. Do some parks have a newer version of Philharmagic? As in better quality or different show scenes?

No I just compiled a list of frequent rumors as of late.

DL has a less impressive version on a smaller screen that doesn’t wrap around the audience’s view. HKDL has pretty much the same thing. The animation is the same everywhere.

And I agree with @marni1971; it’s time for the BTMRR explosion to finally be installed in the park where it was first intended — and engineered — to be.

The Paris Philharmagic doesn’t even have anything Donald behind the audience for the ending. Just audio. And no side screens.

Sadly it’s a let down in an otherwise vastly improving park.

I think the concept is sound. But some should be temporary. Some permanent.

Years ago when they started forcing the characters into the other IASW's, I would have taken the under on WDW's install date. I would have been very wrong.

In a funny way, this is one way where TDO being cheap has been a GOOD thing. But, all good things, as they say...

From what I have seen in pictures (I apologize if its incorrect). It appears they gave the characters a mary blair influence. IF that's true im fine with it. What I don't want to see is the normal character in normal clothing.

The DL version is okay until you get to Woody and Jessie in America. They don’t fit at all. And there’s a weird sense that although the others fit visually, the characters make the “children of the world” supporting players instead of the stars.

It’s similar to how the Mexican boat ride is no longer about Mexico, but a search for Donald.

I didn't know that, ill have to look it up.

My take was more.. this regime of Disney is going to do whatever they want.. if it makes sense or not. ID rather see blair style than something that is totally visually jarring, and doesn't fit at all.

Im sure they love what they did to her mural in Disneyland.

Despite *****'s lack of credibility, I do see this rumor being true. I've always thought Disney characters coming to WDW's Small World was inevitable, and if there ever was a good time to do it, this would be it.
