while watching the occasional and accidental blooper from a cast member is pretty funny, it bothers me to know that instances like this have occurred. some little kids probably saw these older people behaving like that and asked their mom's or dad's what was going on. what a nice way to set an example for the youth of tomorrow.

That is horrible that people try to hurt the characters! If I see any of that while I am waiting to meet them I will definetly stand up for them. I love to take pictures with the characters!

On a side note, I one day want to work for Disney. How to you get to be an "escort" for the characters? I would love to do that!

As TheDisneyGirl02 said it does happen and people think its so funny. I would like to see how funny it was if someone went into where they work and tackled them to the ground and beat them up. Then maybe they might not think its funny.

a few years ago, we were eating dinner at the Garden Grill. Chip came up for us,(myself and 5 cousins) and gave us high 5's and what not. As he walked away.. he started shaking his head REALLY fast.. and then went to go down a set of 3 steps.. and fell.. we tried not to burst out laughing but... we couldn't help ourselves..

When we were at MGM a few years ago, when my nephew was about 3, we were about to do a character greeting with Mike from Monster's Inc when my nephew decided to see if Mike's round body was hard. He rared back and punched Mike. The poor guy inside him went "woooooooo" he just about fell over. My SIL grabbed him & spanked him. It was funny. I still remember that moment each time I see the Monster Inc. characters.
