Disney Bus Crash at Epcot

Nothing too major but I just saw on Twitter that a Disney bus ran into the back of another one. I'm hopeful that everyone is okay. Pictures can be found on Twitter user @hastin 's profile.

It looks like it took place outside of EPCOT.

15 taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Happened around 10am in the Epcot parking lot, with around 50 guests (combined) in the two busses. 15 taken to hospital for treatment.

Yeah with only 50 guests combined, it would seem likely that most were probably sitting.

Once this hits the news outlets no one will be riding those deathtrap buses. Disney will have to scramble to get all the gondolas built...

Well I was speaking more so there would be more availability so people don't have to stand and risk more injury.

Accidents on the road happen regardless.

Disney runs nearly 400 buses. You’d need to triple that to maintain service levels and not require standing. An investment of that kind would be far more beneficial if it took buses off the roads.

I'd be shocked if there is a bus system in this country that doesn't end up with people standing.

Looked like the lead bus slowed or stopped unexpectedly at the pass through lane by the toll plaza and the following bus was thinking he was going through and didn't stop in time. Following too closely is my guess.
