Does anyone know of any really good disney books? I really want to know some cool facts and learn new things. So can anyone tell me some good disney book titles?

There are also two books available about Disney's two most popular attractions: "The Haunted Mansion" and "Pirates of the Caribbean."
I know they had a book in Disneyland called Disneyland: The Nickel Tour by Bruce Gordon and David Mumford but I can't find it anywhere. If anyone know's details on this book, please let me know. All the tour guides at WDW and DL recommend this book!
Are you looking for books about the parks or about Walt Disney?

Not mean, but try a thread search for books. There`s some large lists of members collections of park-specific books.

I've heard that the Imagineering Field Guides are really good.

rich

I have Epcot, MK and AK version of these. They are great!

I have the HM book. It has a lot of information in it about how the attraction was conceived and leads into the movie.

Any of the Imagineering books are good. Of corse this is coming from someone who yearns to know everything about imagineering. :)

Marni1971's so modest. He has probably the world's definitive collection of Disney park books ( OK, so maybe Dave Smith at the Disney archvies has him beat by one or two. :animwink: ) Do an advanced forum search, search term "ISBN" and user "Marni1971"

EDIT: Fark the search.

Here's his list...

Here's a pic of his collection...

I had seen the list before but not the picture - WOW that is an awesome collection!

Some of those books aren't available at any research libraries in the country (that participate in interlibrary loan). That really says something about that collection...

I just finished "How to be like Walt Disney". And I found myself saying, "huh, I've never heard that before" quite a few times while reading it. Just when you think you know it all, you find out you're wrong.
