I understand the cruise line has applied to travel into Alaska and
Glacier Bay. They are 1 of 6 that have applied for a ten year pass starting in 2010. Could this be some of the news?:D

I also have a feeling it could be cruise line stuff. Because as someone stated they did apply for alaska and i remember that disney cruise line has new ships comign out in 2009 and 2011 right?

While it's always fun to hope, this is mainly an announcement about the next big promotion, replacing YOAMD. The new campaign will focus on "Family Reunions" (or some such nonsense).

If you follow Disney fansites for any extended period of time, you quickly learn that Disney press-events NEVER announce anything that hasn't been an absolute certainty for months.

Who knows? Maybe they've started to take a page from Apple's press playbook.

Don't get your hopes up.. it's nothing too exciting. When Disney says a "Big" announcement all that means is something the general public hasn't heard before such as the opening of the Contemp Tower.

1. The World of Disney in NYC is closing soon, right? Maybe this is the next big NYC Disney push.

2. DCL has 2 more boats coming soon. One left coast to maybe Hawaii? One Europe?

3. New $$$$$$$$$$ 5th gate?

4. Site based in Chi-town.

5. DCA/WDW-Attack of the Clones.

6. Disney buys the Tampa Bay Double-As and moves them to the WWOS complex.

7. Tolkien's Hobbiton comes to DAK to replace Beastly Kingdom. It is set to open the same day as the Del Toro movie in 2011.

8. Star Tours changes to Clone Wars. The search for infant Hutts across the stars adds a new element of comedy to the attraction.

9. River Country get's overhauled to the Disney Dude Ranch. Guests can enjoy the true Cowboy experience and rope their life long dream of electric sheep. (somebody's gotta love that one)

10. The new Haunted Resort will offer Haunted Mansion rooms with wake up calls at midnight from the Ghost Host and Ghosts that follow you into the bathroom and watch you in the shower.

Dinsey Airlines. Peanuts by Pluto and Sodas from Sleeping Beauty. The 7 dwarfs work as luggage carriers and Peter Pilot Flys the plane.
