Just never say Taco Bell gives you gas and you should be good.I work at Taco Bell. Should everything I post on here represent Taco Bell? Or should it be considered an entirely separate part of my life?

It’s not close to comparable. If you work at Taco Bell you are not known by millions of people.I work at Taco Bell. Should everything I post on here represent Taco Bell? Or should it be considered an entirely separate part of my life?
So if someone posted something inflammatory costing you let’s say 100 million, you would be fine with that as long as they said sorry?I didn’t say that. I wouldn’t try to control what they said on their own personal profiles, but if one of them posted something inflammatory or offensive, I would expect them to face the appropriate consequences.
Except we have many many many examples of adults twice her age making gaffs just as bad if not worse. If I was a public figure getting payed millions to sell movie tickets you can bet your behind I wouldn’t make the mistake she did.
This is basic stuff you learn when you are young. Never talk religion or politics.
It’s just selfish and petty of her to do so.
This is not even the same thing. So if you managed an investment firm you wouldn’t care what your employees said on social ?
Does the Snape character have any inherent attributes other than the visual descriptions in the books that suggest he must be white? Why would you assume that race would have anything to do with Harry’s distrust? Did Harry distrust Snape because he was white? The same thing is happening right now with Potter.
Celebrities know what going to happen if they take a role like this.
Snape is very clearly described in the books many times.
Not to mention that Harry doesn’t trust him just because of how he looks.
How does that sound now?
Hey look a black professor, I certainly don’t trust him!
Do Zegler’s comments also represent Netflix and A24 whose projects she was also actively involved in?When you are actively involved in a project everything you say and do represents Disney.
Why would you think Disney is “fine” with what happened? If you were a businessperson at Disney, what would you do about this situation? So if someone posted something inflammatory costing you let’s say 100 million, you would be fine with that as long as they said sorry?
Why are you asking such questions? Obviously I wouldn’t be “fine” with such a situation. But neither would I advocate preemptively policing people’s use of social media. Most of us are trusted by our employers to conduct ourselves appropriately in public settings, including online. We are under no restrictions except those we place on ourselves. If we fail to behave appropriately within these parameters, then we have to face the consequences. So if someone posted something inflammatory costing you let’s say 100 million, you would be fine with that as long as they said sorry?
Who knows how much Zeglers comments cost this film but it’s more than the change you will find in your couch.
Yeah that’s the whole reason I bought up the looney tunes movie in the first place. To try and spark a different conversation.Btw, this whole conversation is the exact reason the Snow White thread got shutdown. It’s starting to feel a bit heated here, so maybe it’s best to move away from this and just go back to talking directly about the Box Office and not the specifics of the incidents.
it’s kind of hard not to talk about, it’s what everyone is talking about when thinking about this movie. Type in Snow White on your phone. Words like Controversy, Divisive describe the film.Btw, this whole conversation is the exact reason the Snow White thread got shutdown. It’s fascinating, I still think the movie will define itself once released and if the acting, music, film is good the movie should make 600 million.

I think it does 600 million.Except the conversation has drifted away from the core discussion which is Box Office.
One can talk about the Box Office of this movie without wading into the other topics, such as any political speech. And I admit I'm guilty of it too, which is why I'm trying to rein it back in and get us back on topic.
As for how it will do at the Box Office, I don't have a bead on this one. Cinderella I think is a good comp, but we'll have to see.
lol snow white could make literally $0 and this would not be trueThe statement I've been hearing around is it's almost poetic... Snow White started Disney, Snow White will end it.
Ouch… I still think this has legs but it has to be a very good film.I've been posting the leadup to the box office, which is the best thing we have at the moment. The presales and available seats at the Irvine Spectrum are pretty bleak looking. 99.5% of available seats are open.
Shaping up to be a massive bomb.

Tracking still has it between $60-$70M opening, which is what Cinderella did 10 years ago and that went on to making $542M WW.I've been posting the leadup to the box office, which is the best thing we have at the moment. Its possible, we'll have to see once reviews start coming out and how it opens.I think it does 600 million.
Except the topic leads to heated discussions as people are very passionate about it with their opinions which is what got the Snow White thread shutdown to begin with. And so its best just to move on as it appears its starting to get heated again. Besides its all been said before, so this is not covering any new ground, its just rehashing the last 2-3 years of discussions surrounding this movie and its stars. This is a thread of movies at the box office and the current state of affairs for the films we discuss. The discussion is all part of the current zeitgeist around the films and Snow White… couple of weeks ago it was Captain America.
Agree that people shouldn’t take anything said personally and not attack anyone personally.
Snow white will come and go and next year we will all be talking about another Disney film.
Snow White didn’t start Disney. The first thing Walt Disney animation studios ever made was the cartoon Alice’s wonderland in 1921.I've been posting the leadup to the box office, which is the best thing we have at the moment. The presales and available seats at the Irvine Spectrum are pretty bleak looking. 99.5% of available seats are open.
