As someone who is in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin market. I can confirm middle America is cheaper than the coasts…. 17/18 would be the max I would pay… that would be for a premium screen 3d…. The only exceptions would be 4DX or screen X… which are are about a 45 minute drive for me

I am locked into a $10.00 per ticket no matter the showtime through our local theater… it costs 10.00 a month…. But you get 1 movie ticket credit a month…. So it really costs me nothing
I am just north/outside the MKE market and my movie ticket last week was $11. I didn't think that was terrible. 🤷‍♀️ The theater has been completely remodeled in the last year, with all recliners, new concessions and a self-serve tap wall.

Wow, it's actually been a pretty great decade for horror movies. With the exception of the Nun II (which was mediocre) and Five Nights at Freddy's (which was awful), I think all of these range from good to great (although I didn't see the Insidious movie).
FNAFs made a great maze at HNN this year. The Jim Henson company did the AAs for it.

Speaking of classic movies…. It is being reported that The Wizard of Oz generated 65 million in sales on The Sphere Las Vegas alone
We looked at tickets the other day and they ranged from over $100 a seat to over $1000 a seat. 😱

They had a cool story on the news the other day showing how they used AI to expand the scenes to fill the dome, very cool but also a bit terrifying how few people were needed to transform a standard format movie for the massive screen.

From what I’ve been reading, the sweet spot is around $150 a seat in the 400 section down the middle. Closer seats are more expensive, but not necessarily a better experience.
