Didn’t know she was in another animated film on Netflix. Not really interested to watch, and the song they posted is less impressive than the Snow White song (just the way it was written.)
Disney’s gonna do what Disney’s gonna do and we get mad about it all the time. LGBTQ folks join the club.Edit: I said a lot more but I don’t wanna get this thread closed too.
So let me say only this: you can rationalize this all you want, but it’s wrong of them to do.
Queer people have a right to be mad about it. I know there’s many people out there who’ve never had to learn what it feels like to have your very existence and identity challenged and debated, but let me tell you it’s dehumanizing and deeply infuriating.
Especially so when it’s being enabled by an entity that has meant a lot to you your whole life.
Unpopular opinion, but imo 2024 was a really bad movie year and I’m not sure 2025 is gonna be any better.
The Stitch remake has the potential to break big.
I actually liked the song, but that was the only good song in this movie. I like Menken, but that was his weakest soundtrack, even weaker than Disenchanted.Didn’t know she was in another animated film on Netflix. The opening song leaked...the series that really starts it off with a bang and a duet between Tiana and Naveen, but that their duet wouldn’t necessarily be a love song.
Lasseter seemed to gain reputation thanks to the creatives who worked with him rather than having an actual talent. Toy Story was a collaborative effort and Lasseter's actual Pixar movies (A Bug's Life and Cars) have been the weakest. I personally only like 6 Pixar movies overall and Pixar started going downhill fast since Cars 2 when Lasseter was still involved. Since he took control of WDAS I only liked four films - The Princess and the Frog and Moana (thanks to Musker and Clements) and Tangled (thanks to Menken) and I'm fond of Winnie the Pooh as well. I'm not a fan of the rest of them, even the popular ones like Frozen, Zootopia and Ralph.I enjoyed Spellbound and thought Luck was fine but I would put just about every recent Pixar release above them. I know a lot on this forum have called Lassiter’s firing a mistake (and it wasn’t for obvious reasons…) but it doesn’t really seem like his presence is actually missed.
I guess it’s sticking as a seriesSo Tiana - it’s definitely a series, not a theatrical hand drawn film in November 2029?
She also said she recently saw a version of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 2026 original movie and that’s all she would say, along with saying and also re-iterating what Lee and Bush said that more original stories at Walt Disney Animation Studios are being worked on right now as we speak.
They already announced this at D23.Thanks! I believe that's news to us. It was hard to tell if they had anything original slated for WDAS. Pixar of course has Elio and Hoppers announced.

No problem. Glad I could get answers for you, but we have to make sure these future original films become hits. Thanks! I believe that's news to us. It was hard to tell if they had anything original slated for WDAS. Pixar of course has Elio and Hoppers announced.
For me, these are the 10 films I’m most looking forward to in 2025.It was a really bad year…as far as overall film quality and sizzle
2025 doesn’t look great
That being said…inside out 2 was a great movie.
I think I’m most interested in tron…beyond Superman - of course
