That doesn’t come out until next summer - we’ll see as we get closer to then. Virtually no one is doing box office projections yet.I wonder how the Disney haters will spin this

The UK government is going to give them another $5M in credit to never mention this association againIt’s come up a few times, and I’m not quite sure why, but the supposed “bribe” or payment from the British government is simply a tax rebate available for any qualifying film:

I realise your post is an attempt at a joke, but hundreds of films a year benefit from the scheme. The giddy passion that you and others here feel about Disney’s “fails” is, I assure you, not shared by the UK government. The UK government is going to give them another $5M in credit to never mention this association again
They’re not doing it out of the goodness of their heart; it’s meant to boost the British film industry and hence the economy.I'm not a fan of governments "giving" multi-billion dollar companies money.
Seriously, they are what. A year or two removed from billion dollar movies?

If they get what they want, they’re gonna hate what comes next even more. It's like some people just want to ruin things.
what do they want?If they get what they want, they’re gonna hate what comes next even more.
You're gonna get your wish. Only one MCU movie will be released in 2024.My only gripe with the current MCU is there's too many projects to keep up with and they don't connect as seamlessly as they did in the past.
2000% a valid gripe (and a major reason I haven't gotten into recent movies or even loki season 2).They are 6 months removed from a very successful Guardians film, and 2 days removed from a very strong Disney+ show with Loki Season 2. Hardly finished.

You're partially on the right track. Another part of it is where did that money come from in the first place that they are "giving" to Disney?Honestly, I'm fairly surprised. I thought you were anti-taxation!
If you mean ordinary Britons, they have little reason to complain:You're partially on the right track. Another part of it is where did that money come from in the first place that they are "giving" to Disney?
It was a good show. But there's a difference between good and successful. I'm not sure how successful Loki season 2 was. Very few people here seemed to care about it. I didn't see any real buzz out in the world. I enjoyed it, but it did miss the landing a bit. Most who watched seemed to like it, but how many people actually tuned in?and 2 days removed from a very strong Disney+ show with Loki Season 2. Hardly finished.
I'm intrigued but content to leave things as they are.I literally cannot say what I want to without breaking the rules of the forum.
I loved the first one, but I'll watch this one before I make a judgement. I have really been looking forward to it's release.I wonder how the Disney haters will spin this
“There’s really no way to spin this,” said the guy who called the standard tax rebate a “bribe.”It’s come up a few times, and I’m not quite sure why, but the supposed “bribe” or payment from the British government is simply a tax rebate available for any qualifying film:

I had the opposite reaction as you. I thought season 2 of Loki was largely a convoluted mess, but it definitely stuck the landing! The final episode was amazing and it was a beautiful conclusion to Loki's character. Couldn't think of a better send off.It was a good show. But there's a difference between good and successful.
