I don't think Disney created Halloween to happen on just one night.Create and foster scarcity to allow for a massive run up price. Knowing full well the suckers will pay.

Welcome to surge pricing.

It is not a watered down event. It is not the Holiday Party Night. It is an After Hours event. Most nights' prices are in line with the Villains After Hours that WDW had a year and a half ago.Boo Cash !!!!!!!!! The pricing on this watered down event portends VERY badly for Park admission prices and Fast pass monetization . 2019 Not so Scary costs me 80 Dollars ( Sept> 2019 ). Now 130.00 or more ? For this ? All the while Universal is all in for Horror Nights . Covid is NOT a factor in this decision . Its a result of company decisions to prioritize " Enhancing shareholder value " over guest experience . Chapek believes in " Less is more " , pointing to guest satisfaction surveys . The cards are on the table now and the decisions have been made. Gouge whenever possible with no remorse .

Reduced capacity and surging demand for theme park access. Look at the Park Pass availability.I don't think Disney created Halloween to happen on just one night.
Now with new and improved “paid” fastpasses too"Less for More" could be Disney's slogan for 2021.
With all due respect........130.00 dollars and up ?It is not a watered down event. It is not the Holiday Party Night. It is an After Hours event. Most nights' prices are in line with the Villains After Hours that WDW had a year and a half ago.
Spot onI think we're just going to cancel our whole trip. It's painfully obvious this one will be much more expensive than the last few, to get less. We've gone during covid and it was fine. But an extra $300 to trick or treat for two people is really steep. I was looking forward to this but now I'm out.
Okay but you're comparing this offering to a Halloween party. And it's not. It's not on that level. It's not even intended to be on that level. If it was, it would start around 6 pm so little kids could participate. That extra $50 is for one night. The night that would sell out immediately at lower prices.
It is not an extra $50 for any other night.
I'm sure all our free-market fans are applauding over this.
And that's how survey's get manipulated to fit your result.Chapek believes in " Less is more " , pointing to guest satisfaction surveys . The cards are on the table now and the decisions have been made. Gouge whenever possible with no remorse .
I'm not comparing it to the Halloween Party, in fact, I keep telling others in this thread to stop comparing it to the Halloween Party.Okay but you're comparing this offering to a Halloween party. It's a themed after hours event. Which is totally fine. But it's not a party night.
So, we complained at an event that closed the parks at 6 pm 4 nights per week. Now we complain at an event that is 2 nights a week and maintains normal hours with fireworks for all.
Sounds like we just want to complain.
If you don’t find appeal in buying extra time in the park, don’t do it. At least you won’t be forced out at 6 pm.

I'm complaining because I really wanted to do this. If the pricing were on par with a DAH Villains and included a DVC/AP Discount, I'd be going to multiple ones of these. But for whatever reason they decided that if you want to go in October, well then screw you.So, we complained at an event that closed the parks at 6 pm 4 nights per week. This is absolutely absurd honestly. Not so Scary would get you into the park at 4PM. the even ran from 6PM to Midnight. You got 8 hours in the park with your ticket. Now you can't get in until 7PM and the event is only 3 hours long. But wait there is more.... Also double the price. I'm actually pretty disappointed on this one. I am actually getting married in Orlando on Halloween at 9AM. The plan was to go to Boo Bash that night. Now I'm not so sure I really want to. Such a jokeBut I was told yesterday that I was being a downer!
But for whatever reason
