OK first im sorry if this has already been talked about, but I couldnt find an answer. Im going to disney in october and I have the dinning plan. Can I make reservations at resturaunts at the park with the plan thatI have already bought and fully payed for. For instance I booked breakfast lunch and dinner at CRT I had to pay out of pocket for that but the lady asked me if I had a dinning plan witch I said yes to. My card was charged and what not witch is fine cause my futures Disney wife loves Cinderella and we had to go there for our honeymoon, but with that said is there a way I can make reservations else where without paying and using the plan cause it kinda defeats the purpose of me having the plan if im gonna pay for everything. Also I would love to here sugestions on where to eat for sit down dinners all the years ive gone the only sit down dinner place I have ever ate at was some mexican resturaunt in epcot and the place in the poly.. Thanks for the help sorry this is so long winded and jumbled I just got home from jail...lol im a corrections deputy not an inmate!!!!!!

Call back with your confirmation number for CRT and they should be able to refund your credit card. When they do it right, they take your credit card number but don't charge anything unless you're a no-show if you're on DDP. The person who took your ADR made a mistake.

To answer your inquiry regarding table service restaurants, I think most everyone will agree that Le Cellier (a steakhouse in Canada in the WS) and the California Grill (on top of the Contemporary...you can watch the MK fireworks during dinner if you get late enough ressies) are both great....

my 2 cents....

CRT is one of those TS character meals that requires a payment up front.
Most of them don't.

If you like to eat w/ characters:
The Crystal Palace at the MK (b'fast, lunch & dinner)
Liberty Tree Tavern at the MK (dinner)
1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian (b'fast or dinner)
'Ohana's Best Friends at the Polynesian (b'fast)
Chef Mickey's (b'fast, lunch & dinner)
Cape May Cafe' (b'fast)
The Garden Grill at Epcot (lunch & dinner)
Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway at the World Showcase
Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness (actually a dinner show)
There is also a character b'fast at the Swan & Dolphin, but I can't remember the name.

Dinner Shows w/out characters:
Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness
Spirit of Aloha at the Polynesian

Hope this helps!

not trying to hijack the thread but I have a question of my own.....rather then start a whole new thread.

I am going to add the Dining Plan to my stay, which has already been paid for. But I am waiting on a refund check to pay for it, does anyone know if I can make payments until I get my check or will I have to pay for it all up front. I am going in Oct, but can't remember what date I would have to have it all paid for. Any help would be great.

The final payment is due 45 days before check-in. You shouldn't have to pay for it all up front though they might ask for another $200 deposit.
