Hi!!! my BF and I are going for 7 nights!! Where should we eat for dinner each night (we are on the dining plan). I want to have some character dinners and some regular table services.

Thank so much for all your help!

Hmmm lets see Boma, California Grill, Flying Fish, Maya Grill, and Spoodles are wonderful Resort Restaurants
Inside the Parks I like Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern (MK), Coral Reef, the Garden Grill, Restaurant Marrakesh (Epcot), Brown Derby (DHS), Tusker House, and Yak & Yeti (DAK):slurp: enjoy!

How fun to go with your BFF!

For character experiences - we just did bfast at Chef Mickey for the first time and it was SO much fun! Also, 1900 Park Fare for dinner had Cinderella and Prince Charming, along with the Wicked Step Mother and Sisters! Again, super yummy and a lot of fun! We have done Crystal Palace for bfast before and we're hoping to have dinner there one night this next trip. It is my DH's favorite!!

As for our other dinner favorites - Rose and Crown at the UK and Le Cellier in Canada!!

:slurp:

I definitely agree with Boma. We are not staying at AKL this next trip, but may head over there for dinner. I also like Crystal Palace - food was good and I get time with Pooh and Friends without stalking them around the parks!

I'm also trying to figure out the same thing since we are doing the 7 night dining plan. We are staying at the Polynesian so I think we'll use 2 credits for the Spirit of Aloha Show, Rose & Crown or Le Cellier or both, & of course Crytal Palace. My maybe-list includes a Fantasmic dinner (to try to make life a little easier), Boma, Spoodles, Tokyo Dining, Ohana, and Tokyo Dining.

Chef Mickey's for breakfast or supper, Ohana-schedule around the time of the fireworks @ magic kingdom, Crystal Palace-with Pooh and all his friends.Whispering Canyon @ Wilderness Lodge-lots of fun. Hollywood and Vine for the breakfast buffet, I think they have a great selection of food.

I would do Le Cellier, Ohana at fireworks time, Chef Mickeys for a breakfast, Narcosses (sp) for a nice dinner. Whsipering Canyon for a little fun. Most of what people have recommended are great places. Now you just make the decision and book. We changed our minds like a dozen times for out trip in March. Too many places :p

Heading for the great escape.
My meal at Le Cellier last month was crap, but the previous 4 visits were excellent, like wise the food this time at the SciFi Drive in was truly bogging but Mrs Saks pasta dish was good. But not worth the money.

On the plus side California Grill which used to be my favourite restaurant has been pushed into third place thanks to the great meals we had at Jikos and Artists Point, rather than a poor experience.

Good meals this trip were also had at The Wave, Kona Cafe and San Angel.

Definitely Boma! We just ate there for the first time 2 weeks ago and loved it. I have 3 boys; ages 11, 14 & 16 and they were apprehensive going to eat African food but they absolutely loved it! They want to go there again. We were also the family of the day. This happens if you are the first family to open it each day so make your reservation for 4:00 and good luck!
