Did spitting camels quit spitting?

Almost anyone who knows me in person can testify that I am an ornery guy who likes to pull his share of pranks. My wife is not exempt from this and when we ride Aladdin's Carpets together, I always try to raise the "carpet" up at just the right time when we come up to the spitting camel, so that she will get squirted.

Anyway, when we went in April, I, of course, planned to do this again, but to my dismay, the camel was not spitting. Did they "fix" the camel to where he doesn't spit anymore, or did they just not have the water running that particular day?

It probably was just that one day, because when I was just there they were still spitting.

They were spitting in July. I know sometimes when I've been there in December and it's cool or cold out, they aren't spitting. Maybe it depends on the temperature.

I was at the Pirate and Princess Party on Aug 11th and got blindsided by the camel. My glorious pirate hat had camel spit on it for the next couple of pictures. Gotta love those guys.

Nope, there are 2. One over the ride, and then one that spits over the walkway.

I got spit on last winter AFTER turning and warning everyone I was with that the camel was spitting. Maybe I can get my DH next time as he wasn't with me that time.

Interesting...I'm almost positive the camels were not spitting when I last rode in late February. We, like you, always try to position our carpets just so and look forward to the spitting, but we never saw it happen, even to other carpets.
