The actual look and steam it emits is fine enough, but I agree, it could be a bit louder and the whistle and chugging could be a bit more imposing.

No one claimed it would be a Harry Centric ride.

YOU claimed he wouldn't be included.

If you feel somehow let down then please do write to Uni and complain. I've a feeling a few million who'll be queuing this year to ride won't feel the same.

The ride is called Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. Harry was the star of all 7 books(actually he was on every page of the first 6 books), all 8 movies, and Forbidden Journey. Many people will expect him to be the star of the new attraction(especially since he's in the title).

Your constant sledging is really getting tiring. There's a Homer Simpson like quality to it as well. You're trying to project this facade of impartiality - only, you're doing it in a hilariously obvious way. It kinda hurts my brain to read the logical leaps and justifications you've made. Everytime I read one of your (downright odd) posts I'm reminded of an old saying (that's kinda died out over here) "that fella has a want about him".

I actually disagree. It feels more authentic that he isn't the star. it makes since that it's Bill because he actually belongs there. In Gringotts. Just because Harry Potter is identifiable, that doesn't mean he should be plastered everywhere.

Yes, a lot of people will probably come into the attraction expecting this.
Hopefully they'll leave with a better appreciation that the world of the books/movies is larger than one character.
Based on what I'm hearing, though, they won't be disappointed.

You have been belaboring this point for months, but I just don't think 99.9% of the people riding this will care.

Just to be stickler but he was not on every page of the first 6 books. Just read the first chapter of the first book to my DD and he doesn't show up until the the last few pages of the chapter when Hagrid arrives with him. Also I can name several other chapters off the top of my head where he is absent in other books. He wasn't in Snape's house when the Bellatrix and Narsissa showed up in Half Blood Prince, or the Other Minister chapter. He also wasn't in the chapter where Wormtail and Voldy kill the muggle.

All of this discussion about small details, and no discussion about the trains traveling "backwards"?

In the UK many of these trains ravelled 'backwards' as a lot of the time there was only one engine on the line and no way for it to turn around, so it just ended up doing the return journey in reverse. It does look a bit odd with no one on the footplate though.

I personally find it interesting the the trio -refuses to film new scenes for the ride but Helena did.

I think the trio are trying to put Potter behind them so they are not type cast, Dan has definitely said something to this effect. Helena had a well established career before HP so it isn't an issue for her.
