Could the Muppets land be another SW phase after episode 8 and 9 come out? I would want SWL and ST to tie in together to make a complete land and not chopped up.

Almost positive this will be the case. Not sure what the future holds for the Muppet franchise. Some have suggested the take over imagination pavilion. Personally love the idea.

How do the muppets fit better in epcot than in a park themed around hollywood?

Because the original E.P.C.O.T. Center is no more. Previous management and all.

That said a theme park can rise from those ashes. And I trust Imagineering will do just that when it is Epcot's turn in line.

Until then, they have Disney Springs, Pandora, Flamingo Crossing, Soarin, Frozen, Toy Story Land, Toy Story Midway Mania, Star Wars Land and other projects keeping them busy.

Because............. Reasons........ Stuff...... etc.
Not to mention, blueprints, cranes, bulldozers, permits, scripts, music, costuming, blue sky meetings, rewrites, consultations, lawyers, construction walls, more meetings, more lawyers, bean counters, contracts, utilities, OSHA, guest surveys, park ops meetings,, food and beverage, lawyers, sponsorships, Lucasfilm advisors, etc etc.

Oh, and floating mountains with waterfalls.

And in all of this not a mention of spirited propaganda.

Remember though that they are not likely to bring in the heavy machinery until LMA closes down. IMO.

They dont, not in the slightest, he just has a habit of thinking that absolutely terrible ideas make perfect sense in a world that is far, far removed from logical thinking and reality.

This particular one, moving the Muppets to Imagination, is especially bad. And, while I don't have the connections that a poster like @marni1971 does, I'm sure it will never, ever happen. Thankfully.

Thankfully.

A Muppet takeover would be exceedingly better than what is there now. And the borefest that Imagination 1.0 became with repeated visits.

It wouldn't be difficult to better what is there now, that doesn't mean shoehorning the Muppets into Future World is the correct thing to do nor does it make this particular idea a good one.

It isn't, not in the slightest.

My preference is an Imagineering Pavilion in the manner that Animation had when the Studios opened.

Of, by and for all things Imagineering.

The Muppet idea is just one that has been floating around. I was answering those who were wondering where it might go once squeezed out of its current home which seems inevitable.

I haven't heard anything about Disney doing a project at Flamingo Crossing, it's all third parties at this point.

Beautiful! Well said! Just would add........

Yes people can justly mock beast castle but I have seen aerials of Hogsmeades exterior placesetting and it is not impressive in scale. And the show building is clearly visible.

For the sake of this discussion compare Hogs to Pandora 's aerial photos. Of course Pandora costs a lot more. It is far and away a more complex environment. As Star Wars Land will be compared to DA. Disney spends more because they are Imagineering more.

The exposed show building in Hogsmeade is disappointing, but we were discussing Diagon Alley which doesn't have that issue. Have you been to Diagon Alley yet?
