Walking around the back areas of DHS last night really made me excited for the new stuff. There's so much space back there. And is LMA definitely being used for more space in this rehabilitation?

So instead of taking out Norway for Frozen, why didn't they just add a Frozen land to DHS? It would've fit so much better and they could've made it much more immersive
Ya, while I was hoping for something more unique, it really does make the most sense.Hollywood Adventure hasn't been confirmed, per say, but it's been thrown around on the boards here for a while now. It makes the most sense.
So when is the next day expo event? We have yet to know an official new name for the Hollywood studios...hopefully that will happen before swl and tsl opens. Phase 3 should also be announced at the next expo. A fifth Indiana Jones movie should be discussed as well. Star Wars will be I know, or a spinoff SW film. I wonder if any characters in the spinoffs will be added to SWL.
I was just listening to the Be Our Guest podcast and Jim Hill was a special guest on this episode. He said DHS is going to soon be called Disneys Hollywood Adventure. Has that been finalized? I thought they were trying to come up with something different?
World Showcase is not a people eater...

I would agree that GL was very much a protege of Walt when he was young but as he aged he didn't have the team around him to say no or advise him and his ability to move on to create new and better was hampered by his very early success with SW then IJ while WD had to suffer many early setbacks which also thought him to always look forward.I like DHA a lot. Really encompasses the content of the park if you allow that George Lucas is a protégé of Walt. I personally think he is. At some point a few attractions would need to be reimagined though. IMO.
Hello everyone! I'm a long time lurker and decided to make an account.
Disney should speed the building process up and find ways to cut back on spending. There is no way Toy Story Land should open in 2018 and cost over 100 million. I really hope they prove me wrong and don't spend the 2.8 billion on TSL ,SWL, Pixar mini land , another ride or 2 , some stores ,restaurants, refurbs and meet and greets, take forever and then have budget cuts.
They should at least try to build 10-15 rides with all of that money. Half doesn't even have to be e tickets. I've heard a lot of people on boards say you come to theme parks for the themed experience and not rides but most borderline theme parks have like 40-50 rides. AK, Epcot and DHS should have at least 20. It would definitely spread the crowds around.

It was more like he sought out help from those that worked with him on the original trilogy (Kershner and Kasdan) as well as his director buddies (Spielberg, Zemeckis, Chris Columbus), but they were all either busy with their own projects or thought George should do it himself. And George was itching to go on the project, like a "If I don't do this now, it probably won't get done at all" mentality, so the self-admitted king of wooden dialog ventured alone.I would agree that GL was very much a protege of Walt when he was young but as he aged he didn't have the team around him to say no or advise him and his ability to move on to create new and better was hampered by his very early success with SW then IJ while WD had to suffer many early setbacks which also thought him to always look forward.
