I am guessing that the dreams people had of it being used as part of Carsland will soon be crushed. Literally , crushed.
Temporarily with a new show coming later on or not in the foreseeable future? At this point expect the unexpected - I fully expect them to reduce the theatre shows to one in DHS. But have high capacity.

I know all the speculation is going to be about TSL, Star Wars, "Phase 3" and other Pixar properties, etc. But I'm curious about the here and now... with all the stuff closing at DHS, there's been talk about other changes that could be added quickly. Sure, there's talk about more M&Gs (including one being built near Star Tours) but there were a bunch of other rumors -- a daytime show at Fantasmic!, a replacement for BatB (villains show?), a replacement for VOTLM, maybe a show in the evening at the "flex" theater once the Club Villain event ends. Do we know of any of those developments?
I'm waiting to be blindsided by an announcement of The Muppets being closed. Hopefully not, that area has potential to be very nice if they give it some love.At this point expect the unexpected - I fully expect them to reduce the theatre shows to one in DHS. But have high capacity.
But I heard Club Villain has been getting alot of positive reviews.Regarding meet n greets, Olaf and Oswald are both supposed to arrive at some point to DHS. I have no idea when, but it's supposed to happen one way or another. The Star Wars Rebels (Ezra and Sabine) are likely to come to the park as well. I've heard a few other rumors about characters coming to DHS as well, including Mr. Incredible and Frozone making a return. I can't officially confirm or deny this info, it's just what I've heard.
Daytime show at Fantasmic should be happening down the line.
The villains show I was told about turned out to be Club Villain, which was a major disappointment. I wouldn't expect another villains experience at all.
I've heard nothing of when VOTLM will close or what may replace it.

A water ride / flume ride / boat ride is an attraction that DHS lacks and I would welcome it to the park. Something tame like Pirates so the whole family can enjoy it. What to base it off of would be up for debate?looks like the Muppets is safe indeed, and IJESS. You know I was thinking of an Indiana Jones flume ride replacing the stunt show. But I guess their are too many flume rides at WDW. Pirates,Splash,Frozen,Kali River Rapids does'nt count-raft ride. Instead of a star wars boat ride.....ehhhhh just a dinosaur clone/disneyland version from CA does'nt seem right to me. A new version of Indiana Jones why not?

A tame Indiana Jones ride? After riding IJA in DL I wouldn't be able to feel anything but cheated with a "tame" Indy ride in Florida. It has to top the one in Cali.A water ride / flume ride / boat ride is an attraction that DHS lacks and I would welcome it to the park. Something tame like Pirates so the whole family can enjoy it. Well, "high capacity" would mean a show at the Fantasmic! theater during the day, but I cannot imagine that being the only "theater show" in the park. Assuming you aren't counting MuppetVision as a theater show, are you suggesting that they'd close all of Indian Jones, Frozen, VOTLM, Disney Jr, and BATB (in addition to LMA closing as announced) if a show opens at Fantasmic? I don't buy it.
As sad as it is, I hope Disney Junior survives. Animation Courtyard seems like it will survive until SWL comes around anyway. VotLM and BATB are both incredibly old - and fairly bad - productions. Time to put them to rest.Nope. Anything at Fantasmic my understanding is that would temporary to ease the closure of items. I mean when all said and done between VOLTM, Playhouse Disney and BATB. Only one location will survive...
