Aerial views of new construction are often cropped and/or edited around WDW and Uni. I have noticed this for at least the last 2 years. I suspect threats from legal rather than a conspiracy.

I was actually joking, people aren't photographing the yard because they just don't think it's interesting. I can't think of any aerials that appeas to be intentionally cropped to avoid showing something.

This makes no sense. People are only showing the construction in their photos. How are they cropped to hide stuff?

They're not.

The Diagon and Hogwarts shots were especially revealing.
@marni1971 - hate to say it, but @jt04 was correct.

After I was flying over and taking photos of the construction sites, Disney called me and said 'great work, when you post these photos on fan sites, can you edit them a bit for us? You're more than welcome to show the rides being built, the land clearing and even try to understand permits on things we haven't announced yet. BUT can you not show the lay down yard where we store materials? K thanks!'

Ha. No way !

I did see Hogwarts parts on the web from aerials though. Either it wasn't you or Comcast weren't as bothered.

I have seen aerials pulled from YouTube that showed certain areas. I stand by my claim.
