Details for the upcoming Be Our Guest Restaurant lunch reservation changes

I suspect that it's very well known. It's all over every single Disney resource - forum/facebook group/dining site- that I know of...and even friends going who aren't normally in the loop about WDW changes have been messaging me about this.

I hate to sound like a Debbie Downer, but I think back to August 2012 and the phone chaos to get dinner ADRs when BOG first opened. They didn't even bother with the website for the first 2 days, likely for fear it would crash the servers. I am seriously wondering if the website is going to crash and then the phones will get overwhelmed tomorrow morning. I hope that doesn't happen, but you've got a situation where you've got the normal #s logging in for standard 180+10 booking in addition to everyone and their mother at that mark and before who wants lunch ressies. Yea...thinking this is going to be madness.

I tried logging on between 1 and 2 am EST this morning and couldn't get through. Then when I did... I found the dining reservations are still stuck on Dinner for BOG. Will try again at 6.

They do take CS credits for lunch- I'd imagine it's a glitch right now.
Actually- I see what you mean, and I think it just refers to TS credits.

And I'm moving right along on the website now! I've made quite a few (for others) since it came back up from the password problem.

Website is working perfectly for me now! I just finished all that I needed to do, and haven't had a problem since the passwords started working again. Plenty of availability from March to August.

Got lunch ressie for May, (several time slots were available as of 4:30am eastern), got confirmation email, but ressie not showing up in MDE app and also doesn't let me link my ressie number. Is the app just overloaded now and acting wonky again? Maybe it will link later..

Also, not to be a total PITA, but now I'm second guessing my booking. We are a larger party w little kids. We usually do QS at CHH for lunch at the MK or wherever we are riding rides and hunger strikes us. Not sure if it will be hard to commit to a midday reservation. We usually stick to TS for dinner only when we know the kids are done with rides. Hhmmm.

I was able to make them via the able at about 5:45 a.m. EST. I got an email confirmation but now I can not get the my disney experience app to load to show this. I tried calling just to confirm it was there and its not 6:04 a.m. EST and the lines are stilled closed. And i can't get on the website. My guess is, if the website is down or flooded the CM's cant make the reservations and they have held off opening the phone lines.

I should add that when I type my reservation number into the find reservation part on the app - it still can't find it.

There were reservation times available for my date but every time I hit save reservation I got an error and not all the times on that date are gone

Ha, yeah, I realized that after I typed this and was like DUH. No wonder I can't get through. I have an ADR - two actually - don't ask. But they are both for 2 people made via the My Disney Experience app. I need it for three - since i'm sure they need to count Colin - and now they are saying there is nothing available. Also, although I have confirmation emails, they are not showing up on MDE app so I want to make sure they were actually made.

CNt get anything for beginning of May on the app or computer. Called at 559 but offices were closed. Called a minute later and busy for 7 straight minutes before I got through. Been sitting on hold for about 15 minutes. I'm still trying the app but either an error window or plese choose a different day or restaurant window keep popping up! :(
