That really sucks... At least when it was in the FP system there was a chance of getting standby.... As someone going in a group of two, I've been struggling to get reservations for almost anywhere (except for CRT, surprisingly...)

I suspect that it's very well known. It's all over every single Disney resource - forum/facebook group/dining site- that I know of...and even friends going who aren't normally in the loop about WDW changes have been messaging me about this.

I hate to sound like a Debbie Downer, but I think back to August 2012 and the phone chaos to get dinner ADRs when BOG first opened. They didn't even bother with the website for the first 2 days, likely for fear it would crash the servers. I am seriously wondering if the website is going to crash and then the phones will get overwhelmed tomorrow morning. I hope that doesn't happen, but you've got a situation where you've got the normal #s logging in for standard 180+10 booking in addition to everyone and their mother at that mark and before who wants lunch ressies. Yea...thinking this is going to be madness.

I hadn't seen anything on the disney site which was the reason for my question. I know its on all the "unofficial" pages. And I have to agree with you....tomorrow is definitely going to be chaos....I already told my husband that the website will probably crash tomorrow. Its already glitching tonight.

Yeah...the site is not exactly known for functioning properly, so any added volume is sure to cause issues. I feel for everyone trying to get ADRs tomorrow. They are just so ill-equipped for handling these things. I had the "pleasure" of participating in the BOG ADR telephone madness of 2012 and I don't ever want to deal with anything like that again. Yes, it worked out for us, but that hour and 45 min of dialing and redialing any and every Disney phone # under the sun probably took some years off of my life! :depressed:

Looks like you can make reservations now through the app. Tried first using the website and there was no option for lunch. Also, when you get the confirmation email regarding your reservation that's where you will find a link to make your food selections.

It's hit or miss right now. I'm getting through for some dates online right now, but not others. June is working best for me right now!

I was able to make one for Mid-May through the app too a few minutes ago. SO glad I didn't have to wake up at 6am :)

Yeah. I'm locked out now. I've tried resetting my password, 2 computers and an iPad. I was in the middle of confirming a reservation too.
 

Register on WDWMAGIC. This sidebar will go away, and you'll see fewer ads.
