Can you provide us with your live commentary during Josh's presentation tomorrow? I'm not sure if I should buy tissues for when they announce Dinosaur is going extinct or be excited about...um, well, I don't know what there is to be excited about.

I think that would be the worst use of IP (my opinion only). While Walle is my favorite Disney/Pixar movie, some cardboard cutouts sprinkled into what is there currently (we know disney) would feel like a slap in the face and super cheap. An animatronic walle in the green house and a really cool Eve would just lead to people talking and being bored until they whip out thier phones to take pictures of the animatronics then being rude the rest of the attraction. It is one of the last edutainment attractions left and it still has a ton of fans.

IF you had to do an IP overlay (i feel ill saying it), The beginning tunnel would be images of BNL covered in trash after humans left due to the way we treated our planet (not screens just a scaled down version to replace the farmhouse etc.

Then your narrarter would take you through the ride as is explaining how we are attempting to bring back the food and resources you could include burne walle and eve animatronics and make it look like they are working with the vegetables.. Then the ending movie portion you could have some kind of screens of walle and eve.

while doing that restore the entire thing including the fish tanks unless you yanked them out and made more story, and just left the greenhouse as the only original part.

I would much rather have a full restore of the original, and some sprucing up. If they turned it into WallE the vibe of the ride would completely change and would be about cute IP, not food sustainability.

Simple inclusion to living with the Land. Right before Greenhouses with the big open are to the left with the screens. Animatronics of Wall-E and Eve telling a conservation story.

So before I forget….

Tomorrow during the Destination D lunch break I would like to offer some free giveaways to my fellow Park nerds currently on Property.
Particularly, fans of my boy Tony Baxter.

As President of the Tony Baxter Fan Club, it is my duty to keep him in the public eye of awareness and help initiate new fans to his various creations.

So, I offer these FREE art postcards I hand drew and then had professionally printed a few years ago.
These are for anyone who would like to stop by the Contemporary Lobby tomorrow afternoon and meet up with me, your favorite WDW Magic dragon!
You do not have to be a attendee of Destination D either…just get yourself to the lobby within the forthcoming time slot.

I will post the exact times later on once I am able to focus on my personal schedule line up…too much happening right now to concentrate.
Likely going to be between 1:30 and 2, but will confirm in a later post.


Come on by and get yourself a pair of these beauties!

I keep asking about this, and nobody seems to have a solid definite answer.
I keep seeing this periodically , but today I think I saw the tail end of the shopping stampede.
Perhaps folks are just buying items in very large boxes….

It is an usually frank headline, even for a PR machine that makes a walkthrough about water feel like the second coming of Walt.
