Not that they really care, but I believe they are going to have to make at least one announcement that will cause a splash. They are going to look very dumb if they don't. Maybe a shiny new ride will distract from all the bad PR as well.

Moana is in the back of my head as the most likely. Of course, I could be wrong and as stated above they don't seem to really care.

Couple of things though:

1.) Imagineers and top brass spotted in dinoland (I believe last week?)
2.) Imagineers spotted walking around pecos bill tall tale inn

This could mean absolutely nothing but it's worth mentioning.

EDIT: Something that many haven't mentioned is that we don't actually know when D23 is next year as they have not announced it...yet. I believe they will at Destination D23.

Why would D23 members get a preview? Cast, AP, DVC... D23? One of those is not like the others. At that point, just open the silly thing up. Cosmic Rewind, this ain't.
Sorry, I'm just a very selfish person. "I Want The Whole Thing, I Want It all!" I take medication for it, but for some reason it's not helping.

It still feels like a fundamentally different experience to me that doesn’t look to be a suitable replacement. Sure, TRON and Cosmic Rewind are looking to boost appeal for specific audiences, but isn’t there, like, a coaster in every single land at EU? Don’t the Nintendo rides still have inane height requirements for younger audiences?
Wizarding World Paris doesn’t have a coaster, so not quite every land, but one was considered. The carousel is also likely to be the only ride in the park without a height requirement.

I’m guessing more screens for Potter? Or something along the lines of Hagrids?

There's no point to countering EU when it opens, it will suck all the attention in the area for at least 8 months to a year. Disney will lose a lot of families to it. Like someone else mentioned you'll see more and more split stays with families.

TAs and other entrepreneurs will be smart to showcase a "specialty" in crafting the ultimate Orlando vacation and organize transportation between resorts and making that resort switch as seamless as possible.

Disney will have to ride the storm that year. I'm willing to bet you'll get the same amount of vacations booked, but at reduced durations. What they have to really worry about is if that trend continues. They will have to FIGHT to make sure that doesn't stick.

I certainly plan on doing a split vacation during that first year. The question is, will I do it again the following trip? If I do that's bad news for Disney. Can Disney keep me for a week? in '26 or '27?

I think people are hoping for a lot from Saturday because last year's Parks Panel was such a dud.

If last year hadn't been such a car crash everyone would just be expecting this to be the fun smaller event it usually is.

I think we are all going to be disappointed.
I think you're right about people being disappointed. The company's stock is at a 15 year low and most segments are underperforming. I expect small investments will be the trend going forward since the park division is actually doing well.

Wall-E in The Land Pavillion
Where in the land? Living with the Land overlay? The movie theater?
I would personally keep WALL-E in my back pocket in case of forced IP in Living with the Land. You could really lightly theme it to a partnership between EPCOT, the Department of Agriculture, and the Buy n Large bots to retain almost everything that’s there with a few figures thrown in.
I think that would be the worst use of IP (my opinion only). While Walle is my favorite Disney/Pixar movie, some cardboard cutouts sprinkled into what is there currently (we know disney) would feel like a slap in the face and super cheap. An animatronic walle in the green house and a really cool Eve would just lead to people talking and being bored until they whip out thier phones to take pictures of the animatronics then being rude the rest of the attraction. It is one of the last edutainment attractions left and it still has a ton of fans.

IF you had to do an IP overlay (i feel ill saying it), The beginning tunnel would be images of BNL covered in trash after humans left due to the way we treated our planet (not screens just a scaled down version to replace the farmhouse etc.

Then your narrarter would take you through the ride as is explaining how we are attempting to bring back the food and resources you could include burne walle and eve animatronics and make it look like they are working with the vegetables.. Then the ending movie portion you could have some kind of screens of walle and eve.

while doing that restore the entire thing including the fish tanks unless you yanked them out and made more story, and just left the greenhouse as the only original part.

I would much rather have a full restore of the original, and some sprucing up. If they turned it into WallE the vibe of the ride would completely change and would be about cute IP, not food sustainability.

The Uber Park Geeks are here in force.
I mean, I am a mega fan too….but wow….there are some serious ‘Park nerds’ here!
And I am just sitting in the lobby….I have not even attempted to view any of the displays or shops yet.

Want to stay out of the way of the stampede of eBay resellers and locals who are carting off huge bags of everything.
I will bide my time….

Great day to hang out at the Contemp.
Not sure how the regular Guests are handling this though…
🤣
