Does anyone have pictures of what the tee options are character wise? For some reason I'm imagining the old school airbrushing station they used to have at the marketplace.

Still if they do have rarer characters..I'd be willing to see what the prices are. Sometimes you just want a Daisy shirt without all the princesses or the latest movie push.

I bet they are going to start with the basic characters they know will sell to see how the store does and how the public responds to it. I'm sure we'll get some retro characters in the future sometime. From the shirts I could see through the window they are MUCH better than the airbrushing they used to have. I asked the castmember "guarding" the store and she said Adult Tee's are around $25 or so.

I really can't stand this place.

The fact it was once a great bookstore and, more recently, a limited one that still had a nice selection of books, CDs, DVDs and scrapbooking items and is now something so ... so basic just adds to the sense of loss.

More WalMarting. Buh Humbug.
Really! REALLY! Is everything new thing Disney does Walmarting to you? You (and when I say you I mean everyone who falls into this belief) complain that Disney's merchandise has been walmarted and is to generic because you can find the same stuff in every store. But when they open a store that offers the unique ability to create your own t-shirt the way you want it and can't be found any where else thats still Walmarting? Those same books and Cds can still be found at other stores my friend!

Size range for tees

Does anybody know what the size range will be for the tees? I'll be there next Thursday and might stop in if they have larger sizes available!

Considering most of the books, CD's, DVD's and scrapbooking items can be found at other stores on property, I don't see how opening a store selling shirts that can be found nowhere else on property is a bad thing.

The scrap book section and limited book selection etc is still there. The Tshirt shop is a very small part of the store, tucked in the corner. It is not replacing the whole store.

This new store sounds very intresting. I'll probably stop in on my next trip to WDW to see what its all about. The concept art really looked cool.

This is a great concept in theory, but the reality of the situation is that they probably won't offer a wide range of options for everybody, it will just be a bunch of character junk that you can throw together. Instead of being able to maybe do something like, say, a Tomorrowland shirt that you can put together the Timekeeper, WEDWay PeopleMover, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Buzz Lightyear, If You Had Wings, DreamFlight, etc. on, it'll just be "Oh, boy, I can make a shirt with Mickey AND Stitch on it!" Oh, and you'll MAYBE be able to put the CURRENT Walt Disney World logo on it.

However, I'd love to be proved wrong! Ideally, it'd be great to go in every once in a while and make an awesome EPCOT shirt, like something with SMRT-1, Tom Morrow 2.0, and the CommuniCore and Innoventions logos. But I think we'll be lucky to even have Figment as an option, much less ANY EPCOT logos, new or old.

Good thing we are not judging it before we try it...

I do think that they will have a great variety of opptions. The press release did mention 1,000s of options. Now they may not have the majority of the items you want such as Timekeeper, If you had wings, etc. etc. for the main purpose that the majority of guest wont know or care about these past attractions. I think though over time if enough individuals show interest they could expand the options to include past attractions.

You are 100% correct. With the options I saw offered, they are testing with basic favorite characters first. If they do well I am sure they will be expanding to more options. :)

Do you know how tiny those graphic files are? Disney could throw in enough classic stuff to please every weirdo fanboy around the world!

Is that where "Readin and writin" used to be? It has been so long that I have forgotten. I remember buying all the "Mr." books there when I was a kid.

That is kind of what I was hoping for. I would love to design my own retro or attraction shirt.

Oh...

I wouldn't say I'm judging it, I'm extrapolating the probable result based on what Disney's recent business trends have been. Like I said, I hope I'm wrong. It's very possible that they will have some retro options, since they have been selling retro clothing at both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

Every time I see this link, I think it says "Design - A - Tree" and I get all excited. I think to myself, "WOW! Now I can finally make a small tree for my hotel room when I go to stay! I can pick out the needle color(s), I can add onamants, I can even change the type of lights and garland!" Then I realizr that it dosn't say "Tree", it says "Tee"...

And then I haz a sadd...:(
