It's one general contractor responsible for all the site prep so they will just bring in the demolition contractors/crews as needed.

Wow...can't believe it's all pretty much gone. We are going to HS next Saturday..I'm going to try and see LMA one last time and see if I can get some new photos.

Going a lot quicker than I thought it would but thinking that they're going full tilt on this is that they'll use this area for the ground breaking media event. Would kind of fit in line after clearing this space and before getting started on the demo of LMA they'll have a ground breaking media event there.

I wasn't aware they had started clearing the area. The Backlot Tour was so fascinating to me as a child and now it's definitely gone. Sad photos

I wonder if they are going to salvage any more of the equipment there... it appears the main pumps and some A/C compressors are still in place.

Look at how long it took to complete the rock work for Little Mermaid and 7 Dwarfs. its art, not just construction.

If they were going to save it they would have removed it already since it could easily get damaged during the demo. It will all go to scrap recycling.
