December Roll Call

I noticed on one thread that several members are planning trips around the first of Dec.. So who is going and when?

I'm taking my mother for her 80th birthday on Dec. 4th. My siblings are planning a trip then to, but she doesn't know that. Everyone is going to surprise her at breakfast that morning. She thinks it will just be the 2 of us but there will be at least 18 people instead.

I got our reservations at the Contemporary which is her all time favorite. She doesn't know that either.

So who else is going in December?

make sure to let them know it's her birthday (birthday buttons are great) the people in the parks (cms and guests) always help make it extra special...let the restaurants know too. on our last trip my sister was most surprised when we went for a quick late night bite at cosmic rays starlight cafe the cms started singing happy birthday while working the counter. it was totally unexpected and a fun memory. she's in for a shock on our next trip at the end of this month...she's turning 40 and i've had a tshirt made that says i've just turned 40 at wdw yell at me. that should get her lol.

25 more days!!!! :sohappy:

I feel like I should be doing something?

What is everyone else doing to get ready?

Oh, and last night I went on the reservations site and looked for hotel rooms from Dec. 1 - Dec. 4. You'll all be happy to know that it isn't completely sold out - I could go to the Contemporary to the tune of $3000 room only (no discounts) or All Star Music for around $300. :D But those were my ONLY 2 choices.
Then I tried the 2 - 11 (our travel dates) and only got All Star Music as an option.

It's gonna be crowded at the hotels! Crossing my fingers that that doesn't mean crowded at the parks! :xmas:

I am going to be wearing my WDW magic button this time - wave if you see me!

Staying at Pop Century arrival Dec 7 and leaving evening of Dec 15 2010.

Will be by myself once again but hey, I will be at WDW!

This is my longest trip ever! Stayed 7 nights 8 days twice. This trip is 8 nights and 9 days.

Going to Universal on one day. And maybe Sea World or Bush Gardens if I can figure out how to do those without hassle.
