EDIT: The professional female dancers wear the 'hottest' outfits, don't they? After they finish dancing, I realize I didn't watch what the guy was doing and I have to replay it again.... thank you, Tivo! :ROFLOL:

Billy Ray was b-a-d, but those Hannah Montana fans will probably keep him safe for awhile. Leeza Gibbons won't last and neither will John Ratzenberber or Clyde Drexler. I think Laila Ali is the best of the girls, but I wonder if she'll suffer the same fate as Vivica Fox last season? Shandi Finessy reminds me of Stacy Keibler. I never knew Paulina Porzikova was so funny: "this is why people left communist countries!" I think the season will probably boil down to Joey Fatone and Apollo Ohno.

LOL... I heard today that her appearance on DWTS has captured worldwide attention and she is being lauded for her efforts. Plus, of all things, Paul sent some sort of a 'good luck' message to her and signed it with his and the daughter's name. That could be interpreted as kind of a blessing from him.

The sympathy vote could play an important part in keeping her in the contest. :hurl:

I think I'm going with either Joey or even Ian. I was impressed with both of their performances...good stage presence (well, Joey kinda has a given with that one...)

*shakes fist* Curse you Dancing With the Stars!! Your fancy footwork and celebrities + ballroom dancing = guilty pleasure formula have sucked me in! :hammer:

Ugh. My BF just informed me that She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named (Stacey Keibler)is going to be some kind of correspondent for DWTS. If this is true I can't even watch it. :fork: I HAAAAAAAAAATE her with all that I have in me. I know 'hate' is a strong word to use, but it applies! I can't help it! My BF basically idolizes her and you have NO IDEA how much it bothers me. I can't even stand to hear or see her name because it makes me want to burst out in tears! Tell me that isn't bad. :lol:

Oh and I lit a picture of her on fire once when I was staying at Pop Century. :lookaroun

I love Joey Fatone! :D

I was also impressed by Laila Ali. That was the closest thing to a mambo I saw all night. Everyone else sucked with the mambo.

Quick step: meh they were ok.

But I'm still thoroughly annoyed with the music not matching the dances. I mean, there are plenty of Fred Astaire/Gene Kelly songs that could have been used, and even Lou Bega's "Mambo #5" would have been suited better for the mambo. But Destiny's Child?! Give me a break.

It's much too distracting.

I thought John was adorable...he has a lot of charisma. I think he can grow.

I feel bad for Clyde. I think he tries, but he's still too uncomfortable with his body.

I made my mom watch it because she's so critical and compares this to the Mexican version.............

She still is very annoyed with it, but she does think Joey and Laila are the best :lol:
