-In early 2006, Walt Disney Imagineering’s Eric Jacobson, creative lead for the Walt Disney World portfolio, and members of WDI’s Blue Sky Studio, led by Jon Georges, began brainstorming new E-ticket-like attractions for the Magic Kingdom. Imagineering’s creative leaders quickly determined that a bold reimagining of Fantasyland would have a far greater and longer-lasting impact on the Magic Kingdom experience than any one E-ticket attraction could ever hope to make.

AKA: "We thought we could sell more crap with this."

AAKA: "You can put Fire Mountain, Incredibles, Indy, and any other of the great MK E ticket rumors permanently to rest."

Isn't it bliss? Don't you approve?
One who keeps tarrying around, one who can't move.
Where are the clowns? Send in the clowns.

Well kids love clowns...some. :lookaroun

The rest is interesting, but already known. However the 40th could be a 2 year celebration from the sound of it. I always figured it would be 18 months if they did it, so why not 24?

*sigh*

I found this part particularly troubling:
"We’re going to look at this model as our template for other Fantasylands world-wide as we build new Magic Kingdom’s around the world”

More Magic Kingdoms...oh dear. Get ready for more WDW neglect while we fund worldwide expansion.
