I'm pretty optimistic about this one, though that's in my nature. I'm kind of 60/40 on Imagination refurb announcement, though it won't be done for at least 3 years if they do something. And they need to name drop Tony Baxter as a consultant on the project.
Joe was seen yesterday too!
For any BIG announcements, I'm going to believe they handle it like they did with Star Wars in 2017 and then final news details in 2019.

Who else ready to be disappointed today?
My biggest wish vis-a-vis the presentation is that they understand their audience. Shanghai isn't watching this. Tokyo isn't watching this. Cruisers, for the most part, aren't watching this. They'd be better of making announcements of relatively minor things at Walt Disney World and Disneyland than they will big splashy new expansions to the international parks.

Oh you mean the three things that were delayed due to the ONCE IN A CENTURY GLOBAL PANDEMIC?
What's your point? If those things were delayed or canceled in the past due to the pandemic and not to mention a massive disruption in park revenue, does it mean they aren't new to the park of they are now built? I mean they would all still be new, and besides the nerds on message boards, it will still be a big announcement that the vast majority of prospective customers for the parks have never heard of before.

Or is your point that for some unfathomable reason that after a huge impact to revenue to the parks, not only should the parks build everything they planned on building before, but more?

A lot has to do with Epic Universe. Many are thinking there has to be a response to Epic Universe.

Let’s hope this understanding is the reason most of the stuff in the parks display is from the Asian parks: they were holding off on WDW and DL for today. If they endlessly talk about TDL, SDL, and HKDL, I’ll be rather disappointed. Host an event in Asia for those fans. No one in CA cares. Don’t really care that WDSP is getting a huge Woody, either.
