Why does that not surprise me? Apparently in 2019 and 2022, there have been announcements pulled literally within an hour of the panel.Interesting if all of these last minute changes are not true and are just to see where the leaks are that need plugged up????
…you need Loan for that?
How about a mai tai from next door?
Great job! Good luck with Dopey.I’ve been very unproductive today. Anxious to hear the news.
On the positive side I got my 7 mile run in for Dopey training.
Me: $62 seems like a lot for what you get...I left to bury my sorrows in peel and eat shrimp at Ohana.
My goodness….I think if they're really gonna put a clone of Cars in MK 15+ years after the original opened, 20+ years after the movie debuted, and around 30+ years after you debuted the ride system down the street, you can just write off that park forever. I have so many fond memories in my life going there but they clearly have no idea what to do anymore and zero confidence in The Florida Project to be anything other than an ATM.
I hear they may change their mind on Olivia Rodrigo’s Runaway Railway and pull that out of tonight’s announcements. Why does that not surprise me? Apparently in 2019 and 2022, there have been announcements pulled literally within an hour of the panel.
Don't mention the castle or we might get a birthday cake announcement for DL's 70th.I just hope they paint the castle back to the original color. Is that too much to ask. Nevermind I know the answer
If the attention they gave to WDW’s 50th was any indication, I wouldn’t worry about itDon't mention the castle or we might get a birthday cake announcement for DL's 70th.
Mine was the Epcot refurb. What is our collective “last straw” that will inevitably not be our last straw? Time might prove that comedic.
Paint is expensive!I just hope they paint the castle back to the original color. Is that too much to ask. Nevermind I know the answer
Is the closest urgent care still on 536?Me: $62 seems like a lot for what you get...
Also me: **** it, I can definitely eat $62 worth of peel and eat shrimp.
You're correct, and ultimately, I think you can successfully argue that post-2012, The Magic Kingdom has probably been the second worst park in the portfolio, only beating out the maligned WDSP/DAW. It's just baffling to me that management really is going to go to market with this 11th hour rumor. They are abandoning any sense that WDI and WDW as defining institutions in the industry and frankly, American history.I hate to point this out as I generally agree with the sentiment here - but you know the only reason Walt agreed to build Magic Kingdom was in fact, to have an ATM to cover the costs of his original vision for EPCOT.
The sad truth is that the Florida Project has always been an ATM for the company, albeit Walt was using it for something visionary while Bob is using it for stock buybacks.
So sad that a single new addition (not even a replacement) is enough for you to write off a park that hold so many fond memories.I think if they're really gonna put a clone of Cars in MK 15+ years after the original opened, 20+ years after the movie debuted, and around 30+ years after you debuted the ride system down the street, you can just write off that park forever. Can't they just project the old paint colors on it?Paint is expensive!
