Fell out of the loop as we’ve been on vacation the last two weeks but….why must they always ruin things at the 11th hour? Very disappointed in what I’m hearing today. Not surprised they’ve opted to announce everything after those of us in WDW are asleep.
Indeed! It seems we've all (well, most of us) have gone from cautiously optimistic to hoping something comes to pass that stops them doing what they have planned very quickly!

Wasn't a fan of every single announcement last night, but it was undoubtedly a massive presentation. Wonder how they follow that up today.

Well, TBA doesn't belong in Frontierland either. So, that's not really a defense, just heaping more bad onto bad.
As others have said, Frontierland is more about the vibes than it is about everything being "wild west". When it opened at MK, they had bears singing songs from the 60s and 70s, not traditional wild west songs. Much like Pirates of the Caribbean was based on the fantasy imagining of pirates, Frontierland is that Hollywood-ized fantasy of the wild west, and anything that feels like it. That's why Splash fit even though it was set in Georgia, and why Tiana's can fit fine enough. It has that old America look to it.
